So I came across some specs for the Boeing 497. This was to be Boeing's first commercial jet aircraft and plans were drawn up in the late 40's. It was to have 4 engines blended into the wings, with an elongated B-29 body.

We certainly hope that the child gets well quickly and that you two are not preoccupied with matters at home when we meet next week in St. Malo. We are looking forward to seeing you and hoisting some good French stuff. :)

We will be at the Hotel Central inside the walls and are arriving on Friday afternoon but heading over to Les Maisons des Bricourts for dinner with phaleesy and JOUY31.

What I like is now that she is in Kindergarten, she can express herself so much better. Instead of "I'm sick, mommy", now it is "I feel extremely miserable" or "I'm horribly sick". I think it's called sucking up to see what I can get out of mom before she leaves ;)

We are very much looking forward to seeing you in St. Malo! We'll be at the Oceania. Despite not earning any points (the horror!), it looked lovely. We arrive Sat afternoon on the train from CDG. I hope you and Frannie will be up for a late night Sat!

My dad just gave me a metal replica of the Boeing "bug" that was the last thing installed on aircraft (on the control column - it was last as otherwise it would disappear quickly and find its way to cars). It is now proudly displayed in my office!

sfogate is not going to be happy at all. The flight to EWR was delayed VERY late for maintenance, not even set to come in until my flight was supposed to leave.

No, I Haven't Forgotten!

Several months ago I referenced a web site project (Global 7 Travel) that required input from potential authors/bloggers. It sat on the backburner for a bit while I focused on my company, but I am have found a solid technology package that will support a great travel web site, including multiple blogs, a wiki, and the like. I am taking my upcoming holidays to test out some of the functionality (mostly Joomla & WordPress at this point), which will include BlackBerry client uploads, email client uploads, Feedburner, Twitterfeed and Google Gears. Once tested, I will be invited those interested to participate and have some fun sharing their knowledge and experiences.

In the mean time, feel free to peek in on us at Mix3 Travel.

Aloha box. After 18 hours in the air I finally made it to ABQ.

The usual corporate-rate Hilton sub-brand I stay at was sold-out so I'm at another hotel. This "other" hotel doesn't have shades to block sunlight. This is going to be a very long 36 hours...

Hope all is well in Box land. I promise I'll catch-up at some point.

From the idiot that brought you the shower-head 5' off the ground and the toilet position that doesn't let you shut the door...

I'm tired, frustrated, and sufficiently . Night box.

In somewhat positive news, they are putting a sports bar into ABQ across from the CO gate. :-:
