Wet -- but not too wet for them to have their bag on the seat.

The conductor should have offered them a towel.

So they don't mind that their bag gets wet  pigs. I love when they make the annoucment that they will be more than happy to sell you a full priced ticket to use the seat for your luggage. That gets bags moved quickly.

I have not heard them make that announcement, but that would be fun to hear.

They should be given two options:

1: Remove the bag from the seat right now

2: Get off at the next stop

Well, after a few days of having basically NOTHING to do and spending most of that time in front of the computer, I started back at work yesterday - all day meetings, no laptops allowed. All I got were a few gleeful text messages from tjtenor4 about booking 3 insane MSP-GEG routings for 16K BIS miles and...clearly by the time I got out for the day they'd pulled the fare. Awesome.

I remember during the CO DO, I got a phone call at 2 a.m. from my (drunk) cousin, asking for my sister's (who lives in NYC) phone number, since he was at NYP and had missed the last train to Long Branch for the night.

Fun times - I think he spent the evening sleeping at NYP and taking a 5 a.m. train back to the Shore.

I spent the night in NYP back in March, after a delayed LGA arrival...I missed the last train to Trenton by less than 10 minutes. Thankfully I'd slept on the plane and was able to keep myself awake until 5-something AM...

Just make sure you time your trip right. Did you even have to ask?

"The boys" are doing MUC the first weekend in October. 6 of them. Apparently it will be "epic"... meanwhile, I am trying to convince two of my girlfriends to take one Monday off in early Feb. and go wherever in Europe there seems to be a good deal. It's currently a hard sell, apparently. :(

It sounds like you'd have more fun going with "The boys" than the  girls.

You'll need to use your ticket (or pay ~$5) to exit at EWR. If you want to re-use/refund your ticket you will want to just pay the exit fee. ;)
