Thanks for the headsup. I don't see an expiration date on that one. Did I miss something?

However, for a biscuit aficionado like DunkinInsider I suspect it will offend his southern sensibilities. :-:

I can't keep donuts in the trunk because my trunkmonkey keeps eating them. |

I think the only plate I may consider right now is IH8 MVC as in "I hate Motor Vehicle Comission". I actually got a ticket for a lapsed inspection while my car was parked in the lot at Trenton train station last week. $130 I could find a much better way to spend. :(

HELLO box! What have we missed? Lots I am sure!
KLM first class AMS-EDI was :D:rolleyes:. I'm sure we got better drinks/food but the seats were the same as coach. Hertz Pres Circle finally came in handy and upgraded us to a nice 4wd AUOTMATIC Volvo. Plus1 was hard pressed to admit it, but he was happy to not have to deal with a stick. He's done just fine and so far no moving violations. We hit the countryside and the edge of the Highlands yesterday (which included a box worthy event of a whiksey distillery; Glengoyne). Plus1 had a nice golf round this morning while I slept and then we toured a private castle in the countryside before having afternoon tea. We've both enjoyed one of our favorite hobbies, local grocery shopping and have a nice array of snacks and drinks with us. The hotel is nice; we're pleased overall (though housekeeping could use some help and we could do without the 15 pound internet charge). We're going into to the city tomorrow after Plus1's golf round. |

You keep a donut in your trunk? I keep an emergency pastry in my glove compartment. :-:

We used to do that in college, back before they scanned coupons. Buy a ton of stuff, find a cashier who looks like she either no longer gives a darn or is just dumb, hand over a big stack of coupons, and hope she never really paid attention to anything but the price. A couple of friends and I did this repeatedly my freshman year, and would hand over coupons for things like dog food even though we all lived in an on campus residence hall and were buying only snacks and drinks and stuff for our rooms. Most of the time we were never questioned. On one Sunday we went in, bought a Sunday paper, went back out and cut every coupon in it, went back in and bought a bunch of junk food and sodas, handed over all the coupons, and ended up getting money back because we went over the total purchase price. I'm not sure that anything we purchased that day had a legitimate coupon.

Speaking of Dunkin, they have a new donut out called 'Toffee for your Coffee.' I tried it and give it a :td:. It's a very dense donut capable of replacing the donut in my trunk. :-: The flavor was very bland tasting like a donut tripple dipped in glaze. The toffee provided no flavor to the donut, and it a texture of not quite crunch. It sounded like there was celery in my donut. :-:
