The nightclub seems to be quite the scene but we did not partake.

The motives for staying there were the presence of a Bliss spa, proximity to the Magnificent Mile, view of the lake, and advice from The Box. I know FT Lurker does not like this property but I thought it was nice, and I'll be staying there again (this time for work) in a couple of weeks.

I stayed there just after it re-opened as a W and was not thrilled. However, I am always willing to give a place a second shot. Currently staying at teh Hilton on Michigan Ave through Labor Day. Maybe I can work it into my next trip at the end of October.

wow I am stunned. Looks like HP/EDS has been tapped by AA for a move to shares......ummmm, I can't believe it.
They are going to brand their version 'jetstream'

Indeed, retimed..............can you imagine if CO Connection (Operated by Colgan) posted COXXXX to DCA has been RETIMED

Or maybe DELTA has one of their GIDS display DELTALINA saying, while waving her famous finger, "DELTA XXXX to DCA has been RETIMED!

UGH!!! it is now 3:45 am in the CST zone and I need to get to bed. Been up way to long and have to be up in a few hours. Good think I bought asprin at the store today as I predict a headache in the morning.

:) Good news for me. I am now enrolled in a Baggage Service class starting on Sept. 21. This class is going to allow me to bid the line that I wasn't considered qualified to work. I needed a break from the gate area and this new shift will allow me to do something else for a short period of time. Of course you all are welcomed to pay me a visit any time.

With CO's new close ties to UA, I asked my mother to send me her wings. She was a FA with UA in the early 40's, flying the DC-3s. Not only did she send me her wings, she also sent me a small pin for a jacket and her hat.

I won't be wearing her uniform hat but I will pin on her wings once we make the change to the :-:.

Morning Box! Another awesome day at CLE :)

Miles finally posted from my CX flight last week, when I had to spend an extra night at DFW. Originally booked in N through corptravel :td: they booked me in B for the new flight home... but still gave me the 50%/0 credit. :td::td:

Oh well.... at least it is T-3 days until AUA! (Still waitlisted on that... with 2 open in F and now oversold by 2 in Y)

Off to the gate, and onward to DFW.

For the Miles just a simple call to the One Pass Service Center should do. I had a similiar issue with a ticket to DC were the return legs booked into a cheaper class becasue I rebooked with an agent. The OPSC Rep. said "Oh Mr Scott6067, as one of our platnium members I will be happy to do that for you!"

In other news, I try to keep up on my native home via the Houston Chronicle online. Today I fell on the floor when I read the following headline! It was just too funny!!!!

Hope everyone is having a good M:rolleyes:nday!

SQ uses "retimed" as well, it must be a SE Asia thing , or they havbe someone with a stopwatch on the flight.

My last MH flight out of KUL was delayed several hours (around 10 or so) due to the late arrival of a connecting flight from Vietnam - which had many connecting passengers. MH even gave C class passengers a hotel room at the airport for the day - due to the delay. They did not call it retimed at that time.

But you could be waiting for connecting passengers rather than mechanical.

Sorry to not respond to your text right away Mike....I was in the hot tub with a Mike's Hard Lemonade ^ and my phone wasn't near me.

I love the idea of a vanity plate.....I'll actually have to seriously consider that! This is the most messed up vanity plate I've seen (can't believe they let it through)....pretty twisted idea.

G'night box.

No sweat re: text. I just wanted to let you know. :D

That plate on Snopes, according to them, is not a vanity plate.

The haute Asian airlines probably cannot bring themselves to use such a pedestrian word as "late", or "delayed".

Morning, Box.

In Maryland, I had the plate "SM 69" randomly assigned to me as a St. Mary's College alum. I got lots of comments - especially at Food Lion - on that one. I took lots of photos before moving to Virginia.
