I want them to, I have a bunch of trips on CO coming up and it would get the 1MM count close to 900K

AA DEQM is back....they must be sufferin.

DRDMs would be nice. That would make CO competitive for the purposes of crediting MSP-GEG segments after October 24. :D

I'm fine with DRDMs, but I really would like to avoid having every flight out of EWR be full of Plats in 2010.

The AF 77W's are nice. I would recommend a seat in the minicabin, if available (I assume you are flying in C).

From the looks of the Seatmap I just pulled up on KVS, is not possible. Am on hold with AF at the moment. I think I'm in a window seat in the main C cabin, and just wanted to confirm my assignment (plan to sleep for most of the flight, so a window should be fine).

That is a good one ^

Only 727,000 LFMs at the moment. Few years yet before I crack 1MM...

Yes, the VS product has become less distinct in the last two years or so as other carriers continue to launch fully flat seats. And, frankly, I found the DL 77L flat beds to be superior to the VS UC suites, given that the DL seats can be reclined into comfortable cradle positions unlike the VS suites. Couple that with the unremarkable UC catering, and all that remains are the Clubhouses and general aerogeek value of the VS product. It is still a solid product, however, and all my VS travel experiences have been very good.

The main C cabin is fine. It just feels a bit hostelly, however, given that it is so big. I sat in the back of the 77W C cabin on a day flight once, and found the service to be a bit slow.

Actually, I did most of my flying around then on KP.

Where is the "Will C:rolleyes: match?" thread?

I really wish they hadn't done this...

Wow. I remember Kiwi. I was on their reinaugural flight - they had shut down, and gotten outside investors to come in and restart a small portion of their schedule. The reinaugural party was an EWR-FLL-EWR turnaround. The party flight was supposed to go to ATL originally, but Kiwi balked at ATL since the abortion clinic bombing was a few days before.

I really don't even care anymore. The way things are going in the industry, it seems that all we can expect from airline loyalty programs is disappointing news (see, e.g., the new Skymiles program). I don't even want to think about what type of enhancements CO will institute with the move to *A.

You really think someone would pass up the opportunity?

ConciergeMike Sep 2, 2009 10:55 am

Anyone wanna launch a TalkBoard proposal to create a forum solely for matching of promotions? In a related vein, I'm wondering why Hollywood has not yet tried to roll out an awards show for quality of production in awards shows.

Steph3n Sep 2, 2009 10:58 am

Put it this way, if CO does matching after Sept i am going to fly AA to get EXP on the quick. I have no status at AA right now.....CO loses $1500-2000 or more in business revenue from me as I was going to hit plat at keep flying CO...

sure it is a flyertalker thing to do, but it is not a benefit to CO at all.

I have everything paid off, this put money in my pocket, or money in theirs.....I was looking at some nice domestic leisure travels. EXP....maybe.
