I'm really glad you enjoyed it. I have found some really good places in Fort Worth, and am actually glad I'll be traveling down there through March 2010 - so I can partake in good steak frequently ;)

Is this Bob's Steak & Chop House at the OMNI?

There is one there - same group - but Mackieman went to the one in Dallas, I believe.

Oh, I hope I don't get in trouble at work for the e-mail I just sent… I think I let the inner b!tch out a little too much on that one.

Does anyone know about parking at HPN? I'd ask belynch but I don't think he's back yet.

I have only had to do pickups late at night, but had no problem with parking. It's cheap (compared to the other NYC airports) and close to the terminal.

I want to go somewhere the only problem is that I wouldnt be able to be back at work on Monday from here. :( Perhaps I can call in sick from Calgary. Knowing my luck I would be detained by Canadian Security team. BTW, has anyone tried the SDC rule on weekend fares?

I tried over my birthday weekend last year, while I was I silver, and was told Is Not Possible since the fare rules explicitly prohibited SDC. However, I see that the internet fares book into N and include the SDC language.

Happy Tuesday everyone! This is my "Sunday," even though I only worked two days last week. Back to a Wednesday through Sunday schedule. But... I am not complaining. It is a job, so whatever work I can get, I'll take.

They do advertise down my way. SJTA just installed nice shiny new road signs with their refreshed logo up and down the Expressway, and for as long as I can remember there has been a billboard on the ACE just before the Parkway interchange with their lovely tagline: "When it's silly to fly thru Philly." Gotta give points for the attempt, I guess.

Agree totally. ACY is not well-designed at all to handle business travel anyway. Their TSA setup is about as wide as three escalators, or at least it was the last time I went thru. FL will undoubtedly want to expand that should the ATL flights bear fruit, because they have enough of an established status program that they might want to open an Elite lane or something.

ETA: The slogging of which you speak is just as much "over" as it is down. The target market for ACY extends north of me another 20-30 miles, down south to Cape May, and as far west as they can get in capturing people who would consider Philly. By no means is it a great catchment area, but the airport is finally waking up and trying. Now to see if it sticks...I've posted many times about promises achieved and promises ignored by the populace.

You can't imagine two hours to ACY just as much as I'm starting to dislike the nearly two hours to EWR. I really hope the US/CO :-:A bilateral isn't crap, because I could see myself using PHL a lot more...fiancee doesn't wanna leave her general area and I would have more school districts to choose from.

Oh, and you're two-thirds correct. WestJet is starting YYZ-ACY. Timing sucks, but it's likely on a hard-to-ride type (737-600) and it's an easy weekend getaway. Should the flight stick around, I'd be happy to organize a Do/Meet/Thing centered around getting that FM line, type, carrier, and a trip to the HHOF. :D I know the marketing manager for ACY, so there could possibly be some goodies involved if I ask nicely.

It turns out that letterpress printing is an extremely rare thing in Houston and seems to be only focused on weddings. While that's great, I really need business cards done in the same style but it looks like Syracuse, Buffalo, Minneapolis, or L.A. are the only cities with letterpress card makers.

kingalien Aug 25, 2009 10:02 am

I really hate WN for allowing only two unused flight credit funds on another tix purchase .
