After almost 3 weeks in Australia, finally getting round to putting the second leg of BA15 (SIN-SYD) up here.
Went for the Grilled Prawns to start, were pretty nice and succulent. And not a bad portion either.
After a disappointing Pork dish on first leg from LHR, I decided to avoid the beef and go for the Hoisin Chicken which was good in terms of flavour and quite filling.
Was going to go for something else but the crew suggested the Chocolate Bread & Butter pudding, and I did not regret it. Could have eaten five of these (actually after all I'd eaten already I may have struggled).
Had planned to skip breakfast before arrival in Sydney, but I woke naturally and the crew said I had time so I took the Scrambled eggs, cheddar cheese, spinach & red pepper wrap which was nicer than I expected. Was fine as a snack considering I wasn't too hungry, but if I had skipped the evening meal to get more sleep, I could definitely have been left hungry.
All in all, it was a good flight. Wasn't expecting the food to be great from previous experience, so might have been a bit forgiving. But more importantly, the crew were great. It can make all the difference on such a long and potentially exhausting journey.
EDIT: Just realised that I forgot to mention that the bread was very odd, almost like it hadn't been properly cooked. A really odd texture and quite chewy, but I just picked around the worst bits.

Anyone know the sequence of “meals” on the BA0248 EZE-LHR given there’s effectively two flights and a stopover in Brazil though we stay on the plane.

The EZE - GIG leg it is usually a wrap of some description. With the GIG - LHR leg being the full dinner service followed by breakfast

Menu from today's flight to Bengaluru.
CharlotteC, maybe you will have the same.
Edit: Now, that we landed, also with photos of NLML (no-lactose meal)
Starter: mango salad with coconut cream (very good)
Main: cauliflower in some tomato sauce with rice. This was a big disappointment. CE has better food.
Dessert: coconut milk sort of panna cotta (my favourite)

That looks much better than ours! Thank you for posting. Have just tried to upload but couldn’t but it was the butter chicken which was ok and the omelette which was pretty good for breakfast

First pic is the snack before we landed in Montréal. Didn’t eat much else. Second pic is the menu on the way home. Sorry, didn’t eat anything. Was snoring before wheels up thanks to a few glasses of yummy IPA in the AirFrance lounge.

Hi, I realise it's too early for the actual menu, but is anyone able to tell me which meals (light meal then dinner, or brunch then snack or quite what) would be served travelling Gatwick to Vegas at 11am please? I don't want to overindulge in the lounge then find a main meal is served not long after takeoff ! Similarly our return is due to take off at 21.45 - landing at Heathrow if that makes any difference.
Many thanks!
