Yes we took a photo of it. Thanks, we've just submitted a complaint to BA on this.

I'm on BA135 to BOM soon. It's a 5pm departure from LHR for a 7am landing. I'm assuming the meal service will be dinner and light meal before landing? Does anyone know what it may be?

Dinner and breakfast, I'd assume?

That's what I'd assume but the Indian flights never have two full service, one is always the light meal. I was on a 2am departure from BOM recently and it was a light meal and breakfast. Similarly the 9am departure from BOM is breakfast and a light meal.

We are on the 8.50 flight later in March, sounds like the arrivals lounge might be worth popping into before heading on at LHR. What was the lounge availability in BOM? Any?

Yes there's a pretty nice lounge in BOM. It's also accessible for certain credit card holders if they pay, so it can get a bit crowded at times. But it's a good lounge, one of the better ones I've been in. Just make sure you ensure they give you the paper invite at check in - sometimes they don't due to oversight and that leads to a bit of confusion at the lounge.

I understand that they will now be doing a proper breakfast prior to landing as so many people complained to the cabin crew and customer services about the paucity of the offering before (and the crew were begging us to complain about it too). I am flying on the BA135 the week after next so if you fly after that date I can let you know

I think the kids meal in CW is always chicken nuggets and mash.

Does anyone have an idea about meals on LHR to NBO? I’ll arrive in Nairobi too late to eat and want to make sure I’m covered. I’m coming from the US so it will be my second day of travel. Should I stock up on snacks at Heathrow?

A very nice beef carpaccio. The best beef fillet I've had on BA 😉

The chicken curry was also pretty good.

Had that exact starter and main on LHR-JFK a couple weeks ago and agree they were good - IMO it's the best food BA J has served in a long time.
