Meals from a Dubai trip this week. On the outbound I very much enjoyed the soup and the golden beetroot salad. I would say though that as someone who likes salty foods, these were quite punchy on the salt levels. The lamb maksool was not great - very little lamb and the sauce had a slightly sour taste.
On the return, the crew went over and beyond the usual service. When bringing the main course, they apologised that the braised lamb dish I had ordered from the menu was all gone, and that they had instead brought me the lamb dish from First, which was delicious.
