For dinner I had the burrata starter which was a bit bland, the basil oil saved it though.

The dill cucumber salad was basically a sort of tzatziki-like dish and was pleasant enough if you like that sort of thing.

For the main course I chose the beef, and it was surprisingly tender, I’d say it was medium in the centre and medium-well at the edges. Even the vegetables weren’t over cooked (despite the appearance) and still had some bite to them. I was so busy eating it I forgot to take a photo of the inside of the fillet!

The white chocolate cheesecake was apparently the most popular dessert in the upper deck CW cabin, everyone seemed to be ordering it. It tasted mildly of vanilla with a hint of coconut and was extremely sweet, it could have done with more of the blueberry coulis as that was really nice and added some sharpness to the overall dish.

At breakfast, I went with the bacon butty muffin, which was like a McMuffin with all the joy missing, soggy tasteless bacon and a strangely over sweet tomato “jam” which didn’t really go with it as it was about as far from ketchup as you could get. The best bit of breakfast was the bircher muesli, it was excellent and I could easily have eaten a bigger bowl of it on its own. The orange juice tasted more like orange squash.
