Oh well, overall I thought that was very interesting. JFK staff meeting certainly suggested that ground staff care about getting F and J bags off first.
Watching Wyman, BA's man in China, was fascinating although at points a little bit like a 'man on the edge'. I didn't think letting him up on the roof overlooking the airport was totally without risk…
The writing was on the wall for poor Jodi.

What with the "learning how to speak to this kind of person" and the "premium language", I'm left feeling a bit disappointed by BA. Coming across as sycophantic and snobby. Don't like it. Not the BA I know.

Yeah, that lipstick thing is not going well.

The constant references to premium language and talking about CW and F pax like some sort of godly people is cringeworthy and so condescending to WT passengers.
The mention of Wyman being familiar with Sichuanese food was also a bit of a faux pas. They realise it's like saying an English person is familiar with German or Russian cuisine right?
I did think the marketing devices for the Chengdu flight were hilarious though and to be fair probably well received in China.

Well, after programme 2 I am more shocked at how BA perceives itself to be.
'Premium language', 'snapshots', 'learning how to speak to this type of person'.
The programme needs to be retitled as 'How to lose customers and pi** people off'.

Yup, should have stuck with my first instincts there.
Poor Jodie, but I do think that was for the best really
I thought getting a Snapshot for being late when they acknowledged there had been a lorry fire on the M25 was just crazy. Typical stupid rigid heartless HR type that I hate.
A few familiar faces at JFK - big operation with 500 people. I've always found that there is a very 'can do' attitude there. I'll never forget how accomodating they were when I accidentally turned up with EWR-LHR ticket and it was no problem for them. Great bunch - something BA really should be pround of ^
They've upped the Champagne offering in the T7 CCR since I was last there. It was Veuve Cliquot - no sign of any Laurent Perrier Rose
Better week for BA.
