Was there arrive 230pm today. Menu still the same. Quality still the same. They were saying 90 min wait, I waited 50. Ordered immediately and got food in about 20 min. Got to the gate right as they started boarding group 1. An agent even escorted me to the front of the line after I asked what boarding stage they were on

Lunch
Got in around noonish. Was seated quickly no wait. Took a little while for food but overall was solid.
meatball soup was a little bland and the burger was quite good. I asked for the veggies to not be on the burger. Also had the finish entree which was tasty. Had ice cream without the cookie for dessert.
buffet had some chicken, fish, rice, soup, and veggie dish. Sandwiches, desserts, and salad bar at the buffet too.
menu is same as previously pictured one in May. lounge quiet at noon though crowded by 2pm with more departures.

Menu is still the same as of today.
Both breakfast dishes I tried were very good, esp. the tacos. The power juice was also good.
Breakfast tacos with mushrooms
Shakshuka
And this is the drinks menu, although it looks the same compared to the last time I was here, which means it may not be that accurate.

Just went to the bar to get a glass of wine and a tequila, only for one of the staff to come to me a moment later and telling me (off) that one can only have one drink at a time. I had to sacrifice one (tequila, which was served in a glass straight from the dishwasher...).
I guess it's some sort of a common rule as the centurion club at JFK had a note to that regard at the bar.
Still, makes you feel like in kindergarten. I guess they never heard of a chaser before.

If you are at Polaris ORD right now, would you have a moment to look for my elderly uber mother in crocs?.
Our flight was disrupted (long story). My waitlist for the rebooked flight to ORD did not clear.
We decided to split, heavy-heartedly.
She does not have her phone on her.
Alas, how I miss her.
Please PM me if you see her.
Thanks.

Hi Gang,
Need a sanity check here.
If I arrive ORD on a Polaris reservation but then have a (different) PNR for a domestic connection...I can still access ORD PL as I arrived ORD in Polaris, right? Only "gotcha" is I would have to back track from T5--T1 but UA doesn't care about that and I would have new PNR for connection thus getting me through TSA...all good, right?
Thanks!

Dunno what gotcha there is regarding T5 to T1 transfer. All international arrivals (aside from those precleared at departure airport) would need to go through immigration and custom. Only T5 has those facilities, and United does not operate flights from T5.

Yes, you have Polaris lounge on arrival on the basis of being on a United aircraft in business cabin, and have onward flight

Was there during late morning/early lunch period recently and was genuinely surprised by this lounge! It defiantly felt more like a First Class lounge than Business. Had a 2.pm domestic connection before flight to LHR. Seems that might be the best trick to enjoying these lounges at their best? I have now done the same with an upcoming trip by changing flights to force a domestic connection
