Workaround for Login & "Were sorry, but united.com was unable to complete your request." Problems:

Close United tab, clear browser cache, and delete all United cookies. Instead of logging back in using the home page yellow tile, click on the "Reservations -> Change or view reservations" link, and then login using the "MileagePlus: Sign in or join" link on the upper right of the page.

Maybe browser and platform have something to do with this? I just booked a ticket and rental car yesterday with no problems. Data point: Firefox + OSX El Capitan.

I have no problems with the new site when I use Chrome, Firefox or Safari. On IE, it's buggy as all h3ll.

I have issues when I try to select only one layover airport. It resets to all of the options when I click "only". Very annoying. Win 10 64bit, Edge and Opera 35.

It is very much browser based. IE on two different computers (work desktop, work laptop) has started erroring out as soon as I try selecting the first leg of a trip.

Doing the same search with the exact same parameters (origin, destination, dates, Economy, Unrestricted fares) in Chrome on the same computers makes it all the way through to payment and confirmation without issue. It would be irritating if United explicitly said they don't support IE, but it's infuriating that they don't say IE is unsupported...but they don't seem to be supporting using IE...

Past Reservations no longer available on united.com?

Hello everyone. I recently notice that the function to view past reservations on united.com is gone and only current, cancelled and inactive reservations can be seen. Anyone knows how to retrieve old reservation information now?

I tried to look up old reservations by filling in the confirmation number and my last name but united.com gave no results.

I would like to see past reservations because sometimes I need to call the mileage plus desk and provide the confirmation number for a past reservation to get back RPUs and GPUs that did not clear. I know I could find confirmation numbers in email but that would be too inconvenient.

Thank you very much if anyone can shed some light on this. I hope the feature to see old reservations is just temporarily disabled.

I still have the "Past" tab , it has my Jan/Feb 2016 flights.

How long ago were your flights? And any 2016 flights?

I just cannot see the "Past" tab any more. Tried various browsers but still don't have it. I had a few flights this February and now by no means can I retrieve any of them. Entering the confirmation number and last name does not work either.

Have you set up security questions on united.com? This seems related to my issue but I have no clue.

I went through the password change over a week ago and I have access under "Manage Reservations" to the last 90 days of past ones, via the Tab at the top of the column. Works in both Firefox and Safari 9.0.3 on MacOS 10.11.3.

I just looked, my PAST tab now only shows the 2 most recent flights (Jan 16 and Nov 15).

Thanks for the information. So I guess the issue really is that only reservations in the past 90 days can be seen and older ones are not available, while the old site allowed me to view long long ago reservations IIRC. I have no completed reservations in the past 90 days except one that mistakenly falls under the "Inactive" tab, and as a result the "Past" tab does not show up.

Inconsistent MP Accruals Display?

Has anybody else noticed inconsistencies with the display of MP accrual information? I've noticed that it sometimes displays on your online itinerary, but then often times doesn't. I also see the same issue with the receipt - sometimes displaying and other times does not. The inconsistencies continue with the mobile app.

I like to do projections based on upcoming flights, so it would be great if this information would always display.

For some itineraries I don't get the accruals table in the receipt. If that happens, it seems to not show up on the reservation page or in the app. However, that information is not always accurate: http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/unite...itinerary.html

Also however, before purchasing an itinerary the 'details' portion has always listed the accruals for me. So I save a pdf of that page in case it doesn't show up later.

Annoying.

Anyone else having really weird things happen on United.com today?

Every time I click on something on the main page, it changes my language to Spanish(Canary Islands specifically), and when I try to change it back, I keep getting an error saying nothing can be done...

I have tried on both Internet Explorer, and Chrome, and am getting the same results.

Weird things happen to me on the United web site almost every day. I've often thought it was for the birds. Now I know which birds.
