Workaround for Login & "Were sorry, but united.com was unable to complete your request." Problems:
Close United tab, clear browser cache, and delete all United cookies. Instead of logging back in using the home page yellow tile, click on the "Reservations -> Change or view reservations" link, and then login using the "MileagePlus: Sign in or join" link on the upper right of the page.
How would we tell ? 

new issue for me today: (firefox browser)
Took about 5 login attempts before the login stuck.
It now only allows me to search one city pair at a time:
example:
Search LAX-EWR; Look at results.
Then, go to the search box to change it (e.g., change to SFO-EWR); click search.
At this moment, it goes to the error page saying I cannot search for whatever I tried to search and that I should call UA.





Then, I go to the home page and my last attempted search is still under the Book Flights tab.
Whatever.
(ETA - I have tried about 15 different times this morning...and the same thing keeps happening).
The website is simply awful with respect to simple functionality.

Try clearing your cache. That helped in my case.
The back story is that we had to cancel a trip and wound up with a large credit for future travel.
I used most of the credit on a new trip, with a small amount left.
The new ITIN is showing as ticketed and booked under the original PNR, but is still on my cancelled tab. I called a couple times and each person said they'd done something and it did appear on my current tab for a few days, but then disappeared back to the cancelled tab.
I'm having the same thing when I do it myself, either on .bomb or on the app, I can find it by PNR and add it to my current itins, but then it disappears again. This involves a leg on COPA as well as UA segments.
All seems OK on Saudia.
Should I just assume everything is fine with the itin?

I've had that lately too. Re-used old cancelled tix.. and new itin shows sometimes under cancelled tab and other times on the current reservation tab. I just figure it's one of those .bomb issues and not worry too much about it.

I was able to pull it up with the PNR and name, but it still doesn't show up in my list.
Any tips here to get it to display with all my other trips?

Had this happen to me too the other day - when you pull up the reservation via the PNR look at the links across the top - there is a link there to add it to your account - can't remember what exactly it said and I'm away from my laptop right now.... It finally showed up in my list, but indicates it is not ticketed...even though I have the ticket number. "This reservation is not ticketed."
When I go into the actual reservation record, it seems OK. "This reservation was ticketed and confirmed on..."
When I view receipt, the ticket number is there, so I am just attributing this to more united.com display nonsense.

I just got an odd message on UAL.com:

Looks like it is a system wide bug - not able to accept USD payments
Saw the same message... interestingly, I was able to book my flights through the United app without any problems.
