Workaround for Login & "Were sorry, but united.com was unable to complete your request." Problems:

Close United tab, clear browser cache, and delete all United cookies. Instead of logging back in using the home page yellow tile, click on the "Reservations -> Change or view reservations" link, and then login using the "MileagePlus: Sign in or join" link on the upper right of the page.

It seems the old cookie pre "security enhancement" is causing problems. I log in, it says "Welcome back, XXX" but My Trips is empty (i.e. not really logged in)

If I do incognito mode and log in, the site works fine.

United economy plus membership has problems

I just recently bought the economy plus membership. On the flight that I took this weekend I showed up at airport and four of the people that I moved up to economy plus where now in regular economy seats($900 to move myself and 6 people on my reservation). The United system has no way to tell who has a membership .Therefore there is nothing to stop My party from being moved from United plus seats when there is a plane change .

As a matter of fact this weeks flight was not changed and I am now moved to an economy seat. I got that corrected yesterday but am I supporter check every 15 minutes? This is crazy. I am flying the next 6 weeks and want to avoid this. Any suggestions?

Something is definitely wrong. The only way I can logon at the moment is to select Reservations, then select it, then click on View/Change seats.

Amateur hour.

I spent $900 on a economy plus membership which entitles myself and eight others on my reservation to be moved to economy plus seating. On my last flight this past weekend four people in my group had this seats changed from economy + to regular economy. I was told it was because of an airline change am I supposed to check every 10 minutes to see that my seats have not been changed .

This coming weekend I noticed yesterday that my seats where changed from economy + back to economy I called up and had them change it back. This is crazy there has to be a way to signify people that have united economy plus memberships and the people moved up with myself.

Any thoughts? I fly every weekend the next 6 weeks and do not want to be glued end to united website

United.com is flukey with seat assignments, regardless of subscription or not.

My advice: Take screenshots of the seat assignments in E+. Hopefully everything goes well. If not, I would be requesting a refund of the $900, up to and including a dispute with credit card (assuming within time frame allowed).

It seems the only way United fixes things is when it costs them money...and some fool at United continues to decide that customer satisfaction tanking is not a real money cost.

ual.com won't allow me to book this round-trip award with a stop-over in ZRH

BOS-ZRH-PEK-FRA-BOS

In the past, I had no trouble to get this award.

Is this a policy change?

I can only login by going to look at one of my reservations at the moment. Quite what they are doing at Puzzle Palace with all this nonsense is anyone's guess. But it is certainly amateur hour.

WHAT A DISASTER !!!

Randomly logs me out.
Randomly changes languages.
Can't find reservations for family members.
Errors on 30+% of anything I try to do.

Do you know someone at UA HQs? Only 30% Favoritism is what I call this. I am lucky if 1/3 of what I want to accomplish even remotely works.

The new site is so much worse than the old one, it's not funny anymore.

Tried to advance to seat selection for an itinerary and came to the most non-informative error page i've ever seen.



Anyone else had this happen?
