Any way to bring up old website?
Hi,
Anyone knows a way to do so or browser/URL?
I'm getting pretty frustrated with the new version of the website, especially not trusting that the award search is accurately showing all the possible results.
Searching for premium saver business or first class awards to Asia (tried NYC to Bangkok) and there are many dates the calendar box in the top of the results is showing blue or green or dates which means saver premium awards supposed to be available and then after clicking on the date theres nothing in saver business/first class.
The old website seemed to always have such flights available if the calendar icon showed so. This sucks!
Is there another reliable website any of you know of for star alliance awards where can search for awards that dont show up on United, then book by calling in United's award desk?

The new award search engine algorithm appears to arbitrarily limit search results. In my limited experience so far, there appears to now be great difficulty in getting the site to display many itineraries with 2 or more connections. Fortunately, it can correctly price out itineraries that are developed from a multi-city award search (at least that's what I have experienced so far) - up to the built-in limits on the # of connections, usually about 3 for most international searches if I remember correctly. The problem is of course, that you have to figure out all of the possible connecting points and now search for each of them individually. You sometimes had to do this of course even with the old engine which often still didn't show nearly all of the possibilities; now though you are going to almost always have to do this.

Got the answer to my own question in last page by going through www.ual.com instead. The old website indeed showed a business class seat available on October 30th from JFK to BKK via Seoul on Asiana for 80k points whereas the new one wont. This is ridiculously stupid, at some point the old website I think wont be available at all!

I last year flew from Sydney to JFK via Seoul on Asiana business class for 80k United miles. If I searched for Sydney to Seoul by itself on that date, would not show any business class as available nor for the Seoul to JFK leg individually. But by searching for Sydney to JFK the Asiana option came up that I booked for the two flights together in business class.

Oh wise FT Sages, Does the new United.com have an Expert Mode that allows you to see Fare Class Availability and in particular R, Rn and Pn inventory ? Sorry if this was asked an answered...it appears to be a very popular and extensive thread.

Yes, same as the old one. Click on "Details" and it expands out to show the fare bucket. Like on the old site there is a semi-logged on state which can mess things up if you're not paying attention.

Don't have the Greasemonkey scripts URL available, but a web search should find them.

Anyone know of a setting or a way to make 'Show Mileage Earnings' setting to always be YES. Its defaults to NO and is never remembered. I searched my profile and found nothing on it.

Anyone here think it could be intentional on united's part to restrict showing some premium awards that it does on old site but not on new just as a part of plan to be stingier about how many people successfully redeem them?
I understand the user interface was changed but cant understand why the back end and search algorithms had to be altered/rewritten too. They can hire me to fix it i can make it amazingly hehe.

annoying that the list on the front page does not show 2016 reservations ... you have to click all the way through to see those.
Too many bugs .. why did they roll out such a poor product ... guess they needed to match their operational performance.

I think what I find strange is that they must know by now that it is a little buggy, but they do not have a fallback plan.

Far LESS award seats Asia to USA using new dog than the ual.com version for SAME dates. Weird.
Do we know HOW long the old version will be usable by clients?
