As of Oct. 26, 2015 it no longer seems possible to access the old version of the website.

Workaround for Login & "Were sorry, but united.com was unable to complete your request." Problems:

Close United tab, clear browser cache, and delete all United cookies. Instead of logging back in using the home page yellow tile, click on the "Reservations -> Change or view reservations" link, and then login using the "MileagePlus: Sign in or join" link on the upper right of the page.

What browser?
Any browser extensions?
Wow, just wow. EVERYONE i know in SF erases cookies, I'm stunned the designers (where do they live to not anticipate this?) did not figure this out. The old site does not even have a link to the new one.

I actually don't mind the new site (I like the fare display better than the old CO approach) its just odd that for some odd reason United keeps feeding me the old site.

p.s. I've not tried to buy anything form the new site, just run searches so its inevitable "charms" have not yet infected me.

Put me in the camp that liked the old site vs. the new one (I prefer the old PMUA to be honest). I've spent more time trying to book a flight with the new site than ever before with the old one.

Now in fairness, I asked my wife to look over my shoulder last night. She pointed out things I was ignoring to get to the same info. Sometimes a fresh set of eyes sees things the rest of us miss... Still, I could book a roundtrip in less than two minutes with the old site, but the new one is driving me nuts.

Likely the problem is the Expert Mode extension -- make sure you have the latest version and if you do report the problem in http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/unite...nited-com.html

That is an intermittent bug which I've had trouble chasing down a solution to. I've just pushed v7.3.4 to the server and I believe it should catch it properly going forward. As always, please let me know of such so I can try to fix them. More details is always better.

Existing reservations that have been recently changed appear on the front page of the new site as their old itinerary. But older changes are reflected. For example, I had a flight I booked earlier this year EWR-HOU-CLL-HOU-EWR. Then a few months ago, I changed it to SNA-HOU-CLL-HOU-TUS. Then a few weeks ago, I changed it to EWR-HOU-EWR. (Don't ask! lolz.) It now appears on the new site front page as "SNA to CLL", even though neither of those airports is part of the current reservation. (When I click on "Manage" for that reservation from the front page, it takes me to the same back-end reservation page as the old site, which has the correct current reservation.)

It is really temperamental at the moment. Clear all cookies for united.com is what I did, then FF was ok, signed in, then it was the new site again. On IE it seems to stick to the old site for me. Everyone seems to have a different experience and it is inconsistent at the moment.

Beta website says CLE-FRA (fail)

I have that to.

Had DEN-ORD-MKG changed to DEN-GRR and it still says Denver to Muskegon. And then I have about 5 multi city trips that show "Denver to denver" or "los Angeles to Los Angeles"

Can't see flights that offer "complimentary upgrade" for GS on new United.com

I'm noticing on the new United.com, that I am no longer to see which flights offer a complimentary upgrade for Global Service members. For example, when searching a IAH -> EWR flight, there are numerous options during the day. On the old United.com, I could clearly see which flights would put me in first when I purchased a flexible economy ticket. Where is that feature hiding - or, has it gone away?

Getting really tired of having to tell the new United site that I'm "US - English" when entering united.com in the browser bar. No, I don't erase cookies after each session in Chrome. Old site never had this problem. New site doesn't have this problem if I go to the full www.united.com.../root=1

I thought United had pulled the plug on the new web site, because it was such a disaster. I got it only once and haven't seen it again in the past three weeks.

People were reporting seeing other peoples' MP account and credit card info. Is that still happening?

If I were Oscar, the first thing I would do is cancel the new web site rollout.

I didn't see the new site for a few days but am seeing it again when I go to reservations. But that is the only place I am seeing it this time, so far. I actually like the new reservations search pages. Can pull up old searches and easily see fare buckets for expert mode. Makes it easy to check for R space every day for my waitlisted upgrade.

I just tried it again, and now it comes up as the new site, and I log in. But when I got to my account details, I get the old site format. Very very unprofessional! It makes United look like some company still running 30 year old DOS based systems.

p.s. and having me click on "settings" and it gives me a preference of stock photos settings for four different category? Get real, who comes up with this stuff?
