Consolidated: Is united.com or parts of it down?
Workaround for Login & "Were sorry, but united.com was unable to complete your request." Problems:
Close United tab, clear browser cache, and delete all United cookies. Instead of logging back in using the home page yellow tile, click on the "Reservations -> Change or view reservations" link, and then login using the "MileagePlus: Sign in or join" link on the upper right of the page.

Straight back to old site for me. Now Smisek has gone I am sure they said "right, back to the old site and no more rushing".

I liked the new site because it let me filter out stupid INTL connections of 40 minutes. The old site not changing to return date to at least the day after the depart day was always fun when months lined up for dates and you didn't realize it.

Apologies if this has been mentioned already. I got the new site for the first time today. Was checking flight status (1119) with the new widget, and noticed that the arrival time didn't match the "X number of minutes early" message displayed. I clicked on the message, which took me to the old flight status page, and the arrival time there was different than on the main page. All of the other info was the same, and it wasn't a different date or anything. It was only a minute off, but still--shouldn't it be reading the same info?
I checked another flight, just for kicks (598), and that one also differed by a minute on the arrival time--but in the other direction. So it's not even a systemic problem, where everything lost a minute on the new page.
Now I'm curious, and need to poke around more.

Using the new site today for the first time. It is cluttered!
I really don't like having to click the details widget to see the connection information including layover city/time.
I know UNITED worked hard on this, but... DL makes it much easier to see all the information.

After an OLCI via the old site, the new homepage is back. Let's hope it goes smoother this time around.

Back-end processing (searches, log-in---anything that gets the cycling lines or rotating plane/bed/car) seems to be faster now. This is for both the old and new site. Is it just me?

Award search anomaly - one search day in blue, but no flights appear
I always liked the award search function on united.com
But the new site appears to have a bug - has anyone else noticed this?
I search for a desired route, and i prefer to travel intl on business saver (SAVER AWARD PREMIUM CABIN)
one day in january is coming up shaded blue which indicates there is a business saver award with some routing on that day.
But no flights appear with that award level
For example, one-way LAX-CDG on Dec 25. The day is shaded in BLUE, but every flight in the results page for FIRST or BUSINESS SAVER says "NOT AVAILABLE"
AM I DOING SOMETHING WRONG

Likely a system glitch. This happened to my search from time to time. I've also seen the opposite: dates shaded in yellow with premium cabin saver awards actually available on the result page.
