Turns out the upgrade was for ROC - EWR, which is on an e145. #whoops
They were happy to refund it.

Definitely. Had to do it today. But at least it works.

Hi everyone

I tried to book a flight FRA-ORD-MCO-ORD-FRA with stopovers at ORD in both directions. (4 segments) So i did a multicity-booking but after the second leg it appeared a blank page and nothing else. So I tried it on the phone, and the ladie priced me the itinerary for 2100€ (in W because I would upgrade it with gpu' and rpu's). So I tried to book 2 seperate itineraries. It worked for "just" 1700€. I used the upgradefunction on ua.com and it worked fine.

Not really that weird. ORD-MCO-ORD is a competitive leisure market; FRA-ORD-FRA not so much. It's not that surprising that the two separate itineraries is going to price less than one itinerary. Of course, booking this way means that the ORD-MCO-ORD flights are going to require separate upgrade instruments than the FRA-ORD-FRA.

I wonder if OP would have stopped in ORD in both directions if s/he hadn't had to book two separate tickets?

Award ticket booked for 5/23/17. Doesn't show up on the 'manage reservations' list. When I track it down via the PNR, it shows 5/23/16...emails/partner PNR display all show the correct date.

Wife was checking in for a return flight today and got the message "children traveling alone must check-in with a United representative." Called UA and sometime between her outbound flight on Tuesday and now her birth year got changed to 2015 on the reservation. Not sure how many lap infants travel alone...

Is anyone else still having an issue with economy lowest showing up as unavailable ? The person in IT this morning seemed not to be aware of what was happening and then when I explained tried to argue that all economy fares were sold out through November from Chicago to Tokyo on all flights which is completely improbable. And if it were the column should be taken down.

I think I've seen the reverse problem happen several times over the past couple months.

I.e. For some but not all flights for a given search criteria it's showing a fare in Economy (Lowest) but it's showing Economy (Unrestricted) as unavailable.

What's even more confounding is it will offer something like L or M as the "Economy (Lowest)" but show Y9 B9 availability [on all segments when applicable].

Our policy is to only book Unrestricted/Non-penalty fares and that's what I'm searching for... I'd prefer it not even offer the "Economy (Lowest)" column as that's nothing but visual noise I have to sort through.

Update: It never hurts to press the issue especially since a few of the cheaper flights have been entered back in the system after talking with someone and apparently making them aware of the problem. There really is no reasonable excuse for fares to have gone up 100% in a matter of days so I plan to keep after it until the entire schedule is correctly repopulated. :cool:

Today's trick is that I can't view receipts for my booked itineraries. ^

I'll see your trick (which I can see [view] ;)) and raise it to my seat assignments are missing on the "view itinerary" page but are visible on the "print itinerary" page (and show as my seats when I view the seat map under the "view/change seats" option) :confused:

Yep, I got that too - and they definitely showed yesterday.
