The very first page of the reservation used to show seat assignments. I first noticed the omission last night as well. Now you have to click "view/change seats" to see the current assignments.

Not an improvement. Especially with the terribly slow (and getting worse) website response times.

Just tried booking a multi-city ticket with a 7-day FareLock...

It bombed out on the last page...Expecting a confirmation, I got an error.

It did save the itinerary, but it says "this reservation will expire [tomorrow] at midnight". There are no buttons that I can see to 'purchase' this.

There hasn't been a hit to my CC for any amount--the fare or the $8.99 for the FareLock.

I really want to lock this fare in, because if I go to rebuild it, I have the last seat 'pending' in my fare class. It jumps $100 if I go to rebook it again...I'm just not 100% certain of my travels yet, and won't be until after the holiday weekend. Aargh!

As I posted above, you can view the seat assignments on the "print itinerary" page and don't have to view the actual seat map

Hmm, something looks different though. Maybe it's just arranged differently now? :confused:

OMG. That is really crappy. I can't believe they removed this from the reservation page.

Thanks for this. Better than having to click through every segment, but still very inconvenient compared to just having them on the main page.

Looks like they removed the "Change Planes" details as well !!!

But the point is this is still broken and not showing on the itinerary page as it should.

And oddly enough, the first itinerary I went to (the one I start tonight from GRU) shows '--' as my seat assignment for my connection to SEA tomorrow from a UA hub. But my seat assignment is still preserved if I look at the seat map. So the print itinerary option is not good either.

No it's not. That part has been working fine for me and continues to display in my itineraries. Check yours again and verify.

I'd call in and ask for the ESD (Electronic Support Desk). Actually, I recently found that when the web site messes up a reservation like this and my MP# is associated with the reservation and I calledit I'm automatically prompted to be connected to the ESD. They should be able to find and fix (and hold) the reservation you built. Do this before it expires, th:ough!

Seat assignments are missing on my view itineraries pages. Given how frequently UA quietly bumps me from a seat assignment, this caused undue anxiety.

The connection time line disappeared from my one award booking a while ago, but I still see it on the revenue reservations. No seat assignments, though.
