All sorts of weirdness...
- when doing OLCI a second time, on the select number of baggages screen, the "Continue" button does not work (in IE and FF). Need to back out and find another route to print the BPs.
- after doing OLCI (domestic itin, UA metal), the "view seats" from manage reservations screen shows the seat number on the 2nd leg of journey as "--", however in the OLCI seat assignment screens and on the BP's, the seat shows correctly
- the first time I logged in this morning, Manage Reservations showed my upcoming reservations properly. After I went through OLCI process, system seems to have "lost" my login and subsequent visits to Manage Reservations asks for confirmation number and last name. Have to open new browser and re-log in to see my reservations again.

This always happens to me when I do OLCI - I'm logged out of the system when done. It must be a "feature" of the system.

I've always suspected it was a security feature since a lot of folks do OLCI on public computers.

There's also a dead end at the end of the check-in flow. Your only options are to print the boarding pass again or click the United logo to go back to the homepage. After check-in and boarding pass delivery, I think it would be better to link to (or show) the flight status, airport information, your reservations, account details, destination weather, etc.

I recently purchased one of the cheap CDG business fares but it required six attempts to complete the purchase procedure. In each case, the process would fail with an uninformative error message right after clicking on the final submit button. I tried it multiple times with different browsers and also experimented with other kludges, such as entering the credit card payment information from scratch rather than using the one stored in my profile. I was finally able to complete the purchase as a guest and then added my frequent flyer information afterwards, although I'm not sure why this should even matter. In any case, once purchased, the ticket was issued two minutes later.

Yes, this is exactly what has happened to me before and again today. So darned frustrating.

A couple of days ago I posted about the passenger count problem. For example it says "Number of passengers 1" but when one clicks on the box and the detailed list comes up where one can choose adults, seniors, child etc., I see one adult and one senior, a total of 2. To bring this number up on the first screen I have to add one passenger which causes the count to go up to three and then correct the number down to 2.
Today I forgot to do that and found that although the box states only 1 passenger, it picks up what's in the sub box, namely 2 and offers the fare for two passengers. So since I was looking for a solo trip and thought I would be ok, it brought up a fare for two. Therefore I had to re-enter all the information to get the correct booking.
Of course when I was done the annoying error page popped up. Good job United:mad:

There's definitely a new weird thing going on. When searching for flights either on the website or the app, you can normally see how many miles/PQM/PQS/PQD you would earn for each possible itinerary. However, for the last day or two this information has been missing. It's just blank on the website, and the app now says Total Miles = 0 for any flight.

Muti city

For the last three days I have been trying to use the multi city function on UAL 's website. All it shows is error message. I can search segment by segment only. I have used it many times in the past. Is anyone else having this problem?

No.. and I have also used it. You'll have to be way more specific with your example.

I am looking for an award flight. When I try multi city eg AUS-LHR-LIS and then return LIS-AUS the message is "unable to complete your request at this time".
I have been able to search segment by segment and it shows award space. I tried calling in and the agent was also unable to use the multi city function. Is this a temporary glitch? I have used this in the past and it worked fine.

Workaround for Login & "We’re sorry, but united.com was unable to complete your request." Problems:

Close United tab, clear browser cache, and delete all United cookies. Instead of logging back in using the home page yellow tile, click on the "Reservations -> Change or view reservations" link, and then login using the "MileagePlus: Sign in or join" link on the upper right of the page.

I am searching flights using my MP account and input " 1 adult, 1 senior".
When I get into the page where passenger details must be filled in, it will show the primary traveller as the "adult 18-64". In this case Mrs.EX and I,
the senior am listed as passenger #2. I don't understand why the "senior" can never be the primary traveller ( unless he/she travels solo ). I am afraid that when I am just the other traveller, my 1K benefits will not be recognized for her, E+ etc. To circumvent this I can book for two adults, but of course I am
not in the 18-64 years range and in the extremely rare situation that a senior discount would be offered, I would not benefit from that. Does anyone know a
way to get this fixed? I think to remember that on the old site this was never an issue.

Yes, so now your bags will be sent to VOG instead of FRA:D.
