So, does UA.com award search simply not do multi-city searches any longer? Every time I try to do this (even fairly simple), it says I need to call and posts no results.

Question:
I had a ticket I had to cancel and UA saved it in their system. Today I called and gave them the old PNR. They found it and changed the ticket for another future flight. So later I went to my current reservations and did not find it. I then went to the "Past" and "Cancelled" reservations tabs and it wasn't there either. So I put the PNR and my last name in the boxes at the bottom of the "Manage Reservations" page and it popped up. Is there anyway that I can get this to appear on my "Current" reservations page? Thanks. |

For some reason, when I visit the website this morning, the URL now has:
'preprod' in it, e.g. https://preprod.united.com/web/en-US/apps/booking/flight/seatSelector.aspx I work in IT, and preprod sounds like Pre Production to me, so why are they pointing me to a non-Production website for me to make changes to my flight? Or maybe preprod means something else. Anyone else getting this issue? |

Doesn't have to be but shouldn't be forward facing because it sounds too much like pre production and makes your customers worry. Maybe trying to break some scraping. |
I'm repeatedly getting an error after the payment screen when trying to book a somewhat complicated itinerary (built using ITA matrix, transferred to google flights, then open UA from google flights).
I'm not sure if this means there's something wrong with the payment (presumably they'd tell me if it's an authorisation issue), or if it's a website issue. (Note: fare rules allow buying in area 1, and I'm paying with a US debit card.) Error We’re sorry, but united.com was unable to complete your request. Please try later or contact united.com Support in the U.S. and Canada at 1-800-396-1751; the U.K. at 0800 028 5003; elsewhere use the local phone number. |

Seat Assignments back
I am seeing seat assignments on the View Current Reservation page, again.

Seat assignments may be back but they removed something else awhile ago that would be useful. I often put a 7-day hold on reservations. When I open a reservation that is on hold it no longer displays the price at which the hold was placed. It used to show that. The only way to see the price is to click the "Purchase Now" button. I continue to shop during the 7-day hold period and this is just an extra new step to the comparison shopping exercise.
United giveth and United taketh away. |

... I'm seeing seats again as well ! |
Looking at my itineraries, after the traveller's details were the seat assignments and then "MileagePlus earnings". The latter has disappeared.
What happened? |
