FlyerTalk Forums - KVS Availability Tool

I've been having trouble for a couple of days with routing rules on US and UA. Error retrieving fare rules[WDC-S-RTR]--"the system was unable to locate a matching fare". Or "the system is currently busy" or "I/O error". Perhaps I'm unaware of something.

An example:
US Air
SFO-PIT
Dec 11-12
r/t
Fare: RIATNJ6

Any suggestions. Thank you.

Is it because it is a new fare that prevents it from displaying on KVS?

Any idea why AA c/s shows 0 coach availability for this routing?
KVS has shown it available all day.

Try using BA/Oneworld instead, I find that to be more accurate.
Or just go straight up on AA.com

Yes, the Routing Rules Engine may, sometimes, be unable to find an exact match for certain newly-loaded Fares.

There are definitely 4 Y Award Seats currently available on that flight.

Except I'm paying for KVS' ease and accuracy.;) AA.com shows 0.

That FAQ is seemingly for agents having problems finding awards seats on partner airlines. Regardless, called an AAgent, on an AA flight, and AA.com & AA can't locate. KVS still showing as available.

SQ KF systems are currently down -- please try again in a few hours or use one of the other *A Award Availability Methods.

AA is still reporting positive Y Award Availability on AA 241 to at least 3 of its airline partners -- you may wish to escalate this issue to an AADV supervisor.
