Seat Maps: we're currently not able to show seat maps for flights departing within the next 24 hours for several airlines: DL, BA, QR , ANA, B6, & JL
Searches currently not working:
- Upgrades - AY, BA, EK, EY, IB, QR, VS
- Awards - AY, BA, IB, EY, QR, VS
To search AA upgrades:
- Use the Award & Upgrade tool
- Only search for individual segments (set the "Connection Preference" drop-down to "Direct/Non-Stop only"). Flight results that are part of a connection won't show the upgrade version of C or A inventory because AA only files upgrade inventory as individual, not married, segments. (Married segments show revenue inventory instead of upgrade inventory.)
- To avoid confusion, check the "Exclude Codeshares" box, as AA awards and upgrades are not valid on codeshares.

"....For example, it does not understand TQO (new airport in Tulum, MX). I emailed and asked that it be added (should be trivial) and got a response that they would NOT be adding any airports."

But I have never had any luck getting any results to return for TQO - it just spins forever. I never bothered to get back to them to ask why. Now I wish I had asked back when I might have gotten an answer. :-)

Once they star dealing with multiple chargebacks then they will either reply or fold....

Yeah, it's almost certainly an EF problem, not an LHG problem

Having worked at a few software companies that got acquired by a behemoth (one known as where good software companies go to die) as a co-founder I can only imagine what you must be thinking.
Nonetheless, I echo what others have stated- Thank You for your contribution to the travel community.

We need you back at the helm! (Sharing the same alma mater, I have faith you would right this ship!)

That was the joke, since they're both owned by Red Ventures. From what I could find, those who wrote the articles about EF on TPG are no longer with TPG, so there weren't any writers who I could reach out to who actually benefited from it financially.

Amadeus, Galileo, Travelport etc will still display their content, so EF clearly has its feed from Sabre.

Availability for some airlines (if a single airline is specified) likely goes via Travelport - this can be easily seen by the way availability is presented (ie Y9 BL... with L not being Sabre response except for direct access screens).
Now TK fares still show up as part of a general search, however if TK only is specified no content will return.
However, if you specify TK and another airline (preferably a one that doesn't file fares between the cities you are looking into) you will get the full list of fares.
Moreover, the routing rules will be available and they come from Sabre.
Sabre still shows TK fares because the fares vendor is not TK but ATPCO as i understand.
