I'm at the Four Points in Niagara Falls, NY. There is no official check-in on Foursquare. Anyone have experience doing a check-in here?

It didn't. SL told me the one with the address is the official one, but it didn't have a special box. I'm sure I'll be back here complaining if it doesn't post.

No. Waiting on points to post for a stay from almost a month ago. It's the only one that didn't post, so the promo has worked out way better than even I would have expected. despite this, kvetching about promo failures is fun.

My guess is that, unless I am mistaken (and believe or not, I sometimes am), you might have missed the ever-so subtle point of his post.

And both of you missed my point that I did contact SPG w/ no luck (prior to contacting you). So it doesn't matter where I complain as the result will be the same.

Perhaps if you contacted SPG politely instead of complaining, you'd have better luck. I had one bonus not post, and a polite email (at the required three week limit) got the points within 24 hours.

You assume that I did not contact them politely. As TV's Dr. Gregory House says, "When you assume, U become a pain in the A** to ME."

House also says, "Assume everyone lies.".

True, but I am sure SPG keeps records of all their chat interactions, and can attest that I was polite.

Maybe you're just a shlamazel, but you continually use the word "complain", which implies a certain level of interaction. I may be wrong, but since 99% of others have no problem getting credit, and you're the outlier, I believe my assumption is warranted.

LOL. I'm not sure how I could have missed that nuance since what sent you to me in the first place was the fact that SPG customer service said to wait 3 weeks.

As I said before, I'm under the same restriction they are. Perhaps mahasamatman ran across someone willing to violate policy, but I'm pretty much a stickler for not doing that.
