Nope. You can get both, provided all the conditions are met for doing so.

Don't suppose Royal Orchid Sheraton can be added to the Facebook participating properties list in the next 24 hours? :P

I'm thinking not. The participation list of properties is limited to those who opted in as far as the Facebook offer is concerned.

I agree... it took me quite a while to sort through the last pages of this thread to find the FB link.

*yawn*

You're wrong in the same way that you are wrong about SF restaurants being better than NY restaurants. I used "complain" or "complaint" to refer to instances where I registered a discrepancy with SPG. It does not imply tone in the same way that adjectives such as "b****," "moan" and "whine" do.

I agree with the other posters who have raised concerns about the intrusive nature of these types of websites. I am on facebook but I am not prepared to announce my "check ins" etc.

Oh well, lets hope there are some good bonuses for those of us who are not that keen on this type of thing

I feel that even the mid-range SF restaurants are far better than any NY restaurant, but that's my opinion and by definition there's no possible way an opinion can be wrong.

Then it's still a mystery why you're the only person who has this problem.

Maybe I'm missing a post, but I don't see anyone else who hasn't gotten the points after sending in a report. Points don't post, people request them, everyone (other than you as far as I can tell) gets the points. As reported above, for the one case where my points didn't post, I got them within 24 hours after sending the email.

You're special. Congratulations!

Further, I don't see anything in the definition of "opinion" that precludes an opinion from being considered wrong. If there were no erroneous and/or dissenting opinions, then everyone should be in agreement... No?

Bad link in T&C http://www.spgpromos.com/foursquare/...RMS_PROMOTIONS. Emphasis mine. The address you see below is correct but the hyperlink is bad.

Not at all. I can disagree with you, but that doesn't make your opinion wrong. To paraphrase Evelyn Beatrice Hall,
I may not agree with what you say, but I will defend to the death my right to criticize you for it.
