NA Res says there are lots of problems, may take weeks to work them out.
I guess SQ hired the UA website developers to update their site.
The UA web developer is probably offer a *A Group rate

Another oddity is when system brought back fare but couldnt complete I had to phone in, and got a lower tax amount (identical base fare) - not sure how?
Naturally local office is run off their feet and so takes a long time to get through. They are also feeling our frustrations.
I wonder how much business SQ is losing as a result?

Without knowing the fare sub-class, how does one know whether the ticket is upgradable ? But since it says you are able to accrue xxxx miles, I assume I can use miles to upgrade (?)
And where is the seat map now

These two items are the subject of my latest email feedback / inquirty
. Will report back on their responses to my questions.

Oh well, at least the ability to link to a specific page of the website has at least made re-writing the FAQ easier.

Here's the response to my questions (in which I asked whether the upgrade had taken away the ability to see (1) specific flights' seatmaps and (2) the fare code):
"Please call our reservations on 0870 608 8886 and they will be able to assist you."
(Interestingly, unlike in previous emails, this time the message did not contain a specific person's name at the bottom. It was signed off with "Regards, Singapore Airlines".)

This is really frustrating - I was able to price a trip LAX-DPS with a SIN stopover last week, but now I can't. It seems that the multi-city function only spits out the lowest priced options. As such, it is impossible to book the Executive Economy flights in conjunction with a stopover. And it'd be my first SQ flight too . . .

to SQ but yesterday, SQ Reservations actually called me to help me sort out the problems. They were quick to offer alternatives as well. ^
