Certainly not for daily necessities but if you are into perfumes, cosmetics branded goods and electronics, $4k is easy. I buy for family and friends every time I fly. The GST savings should not be sniffed at.

And take it with you on the plane or have it shipped to your destination? You surely can't ship it to your Singapore home and try to get it GST free

No 10X UNI$ with EZ-Reload (proof)

I got my UOB PPV statement from previous month. I had just two EZ-Reload transactions there:

And here is the statement about UNI$:

As you can see, there are just 8 UNI$s awarded for $40 transaction.

yes, no UN$ is awarded :( top up 50 bucks and only UNI$10

I was thinking to apply for the Maybank Horizon Platinum Card. The from says only Singaporean or Singaporeans may apply. But strangley the application form let me put Passport and Foreigner.
Anyone knows if iam able to get it as an EP Holder?

Thanks.

Seems like I'm the only person who still gets 10x UNI$ for EZ-reload...

Is the 2.8 miles/S$1 (limit of S$5k a month) on selected partners (or transactions in NZ/AUS) for the ANZ Travel Card still ongoing? Is there an ending date to this promo?

Your reasons for wanting to apply for it?? Ever since they stopped the free conversion of points to miles, this card is not longer as lucrative as it once was...

I'm still shopping for a replacement card though....

Done. Thanks!

Anyone has any idea which card is best to pay for AIA and AXA Insurance?

My AMEX got compromised this morning and decided it will be a good time to change all my direct debit stuff to another more "profitable" card.

Was going through my big ticket items and realised Aviva doesn't take cc payment. :(

TIA!

It seems that it is a PERMANENT feature of the card. No end date.

Please go to AXS machines and look under Citibank bill pay. Check if AIA and AXA are 1 of the 9 insurance companies. I know Great Eastern Life & AVIVA is one of them. Can earn miles/points with Citibank Credit cards only.

I know you LOVE the ANZ travel card, but you're beginning to sound more and more like a sales person... maybe the Product Manager???

I like Citibank suite of cards too... Citi PM, Clear Platinum, Rewards and Platinum.

All these 5 cards in my wallet lets me earn the most miles.

I have it, but I hate that they don't have online access and to be honest compared to DBS, AMEX, Citi, HSBC etc., their customer service is not that great. Just my experience.
