I am 6'5 and they are all comfortable for me.
Many prefer 12E as it is in a pair of middle seats and both it and 12F allow direct aisle access.
If you prefer a window seat then the A seats are good, and have a small storage bin and shelf on the LHS.

If a solo traveller, recent reports indicate 5B or 5J may be more desirable.

We got 2J and 2K a couple of weeks ago and found these to be great for a couple. The middle of the plane between these and 2A/2B is wide open, so there is a very spacious feel. I think I'd actually prefer these traveling as a couple to 3E/3F because you don't have people passing by your seat as often. We loved the MKII seats compared to the MKI.

A330-300 domestic
Sorry, really confused by the different types of A330. I have booked a flight PER-SYD which is operated by A330-300 (QF 566). When I booked it, I checked on QF website and it suggested that all A330-300's how have AVOD in all classes. Is that correct? I have seen some posts on other sites talking about very old planes with poor IFE.
Thanks

I thought Qantas was retiring all 747s ???
I am flying LAX - SYD and supposedly my only option other than the A380s are flight 107/108 which is listed as a 767 Isn't this plane kind of small for such a long flight??
What kind of a Business Class do they have in these 767 aircrafts and since we're at it, I'd love to know about the First too. I wonder how they will replace the 747 First and Business seating on this routing with a 767 product that even AA flies domestically.
THANKS!!!

Yes, you guys are right there was an error in communication etc. It is a reconfigured 747 on the QF 107/108.
But I still have this question, What kind of a Business Class do they have in these reconfigured 747 aircrafts and since we're at it, I'd love to know about the First Class Cabin they replaced too. What will now be missing? Is there any advantage to sitting in the old first area? And will this reconfigured class still have the Business Class on the Upper Deck or both Upper and Lower? Where is better to sit?
THANKS!!!

I am traveling solo on QF1 SIN-LHR in September, in F cabin. Currently have 4A seat, and I see 1A and 5A are open. Is either one of those more preferable? 3-5K are open as well.
