Hello
Just two questions.
A380 SYD-SIN-LHR and then LHR,SIN,SYD travelling as a pair. At the moment we have 11A and B, 12A and B and 13A and B for varying sectors - is 11 combo or 13 combo more desirable? The 12 combo was only available on one sector we have that.

Secondly, 744 from SIN-BNE departing 4th FEB - At the moment we are booked 12A/12B UD but i saw there were seats available 1A/B, 1J/K, 2A/B, 2J/K - Any recomendations? Stay upstairs or grab the ones in the front?
Thanks!

Hello Tigerplayer and welcome to FT. Looks like the second question is the same as the one I posed yesterday. I've since changed our seats from the upper deck to 1A and 1K. If the layout is as the First class seat plan but you have J tickets then I'd suggest you go for the First seats and change from the upper deck.

Is there a row 4?

If no row 4 then you have the new configuration and 3E/F or 13A/B or 12J/K may be the most desirable for couples.

Can anyone tell me authoritatively...does this aircraft have the 180 degree "lie flat" seat\bed in Business Class....or is it the ""lie flat tilt bed"?

Thanks....\\
Welcome to AFF.

If you can see a seatmap then id there is no row 4 then the seats are indeed "Lie Flat".

Note that if you can see only 14 seats in rows 1 to 4 or there's no 1B or 1J then rows 1-4 are first class seats being sold for business use.

I'm on QF108 and my seat map matches what golfmad posted in post #282. I'm traveling with my friend and the only seats left up front were 4A, 4E and 4F. I took 4A because seatguru said the bassinet position next to the seat was a good thing. My friend will take 4E.

Do you think it would be better if we both took 4E and 4F?

Quick question: Flying BKK-SYD in February in QF24. Does this A332 have Skybed Mk I or domestic business seats?

it has skybed MK1.

The domestic configurations don't do international.

Thank God! I just read about the domestic ones on AFF, and realised that I hadn't actually confirmed that rather important fact.

I figured I just couldn't stomach JQ overnight even in *Class (I refuse to call it Business) so QF in J must be better!

Basically these old First Class seats are quite discrete and while communication is somewhat easier with 4E/4F, 4A/4E are fine - you'll be able to communicate as you wish across the aisle.

Thanks for the quick reply.

I'll be flying back solo on SYD-DFW and was able to snag 5J.

Paying for extra leg room 767 is it worth it?

I am planning to travel to Perth from Sydney and I think it is a 767 - will this be the new config and is extra leg room worth it or are they all compromised by bulk head or exit slides ? Any help welcome on choosing a seat.

Hi serfty..the seat map is not very easy to take a copy of...I see now that I am allowed to choose a seat in economy but I guess as my ticket is the red deal then I am only offered the back of the plane - no exits on offer anyway. boo!
