Am a BA Emerald and booked QF005 Sin-Fra on a 744 in J.
Have read a lot here so just wanted to check my understanding is correct as I have availability in UD or in the pointy bit of lower deck:
seat is MkI meaning slanty flat bed?
Is this easy to climb over like BA CW?
seat is 195 cm? ( am 195 myself)
Seat has power? Which plug type?
I prefer window for privacy. Is 1a or 1k better than 11a or 11k upstairs?
Does bulkhead make it easier to climb out or give more leg space?
Many thanks for any help.

Would welcome opinions on row 25 on the A380. I've seen other comments about being served last when at the back but I will be ordering a special meal so not too worried about that. I only have choices from row 16 backwards so can't enjoy the smaller front cabin.
Thanks!
Thanks!
Am currently booked in 20E for both SYD-LAX and LAX-MEL but am tempted by the option of a more private feel in those back 2 rows 24-25.
Has anyone actually had meal choice problems? I'm unsure if this really matters to me, as airline food is less of an issue than seat comfort.
Unfortunately the highly touted rows 11-13 are fully booked both flights, so not an option.

F on QF11
This is a tough question, as none of the seats are 'next' to each other. I would recommend being in either A or K row though as they are both next to the windows, and F is in the middle with less privacy. Avoid the '1' seats as they are directly behind the bathrooms which can be annoying.
That being said, you can sit together for meals, as there is a small seat in each suite for this purpose.
I flew in 3A this week, and it was a fantastic seat.
Enjoy QF First!

Premium agent advised 3K and F as they were close together, but as always, I trust my fellow FT'ers advice mroe!

Yes, I'd like to know too. It's hard to tell on the seat maps, so any advice as to which seats are the best for a couple in F on the A380 would be greatly appreciated!

Looking at videos and cabin pix I decided on 2/3A. The middle seats have a lot less privacy, and if we want to talk to each other I can just get up and turn around.
Avoided 1A because of the noise issues.
With family on EY, we purposely sit on opposite sides of the cabin in our private suites.... the compromise we have to make for our partners

A380 71D in Y / 38K in PE
Hi, two q's both about the A380.
1) 71D in Economy: there is no seat infront so no leg support I guess. Is the seat any narrower because of the tv and tray table in the armrest? Any pros or cons to this seat? Had a mate fly the equivelent on Emirates and said it was fine.
2) 38K in Premium Economy: Does this seat have a window? The QF seat map page seems to indicate so, and there is no mention of it not having any on SeatGuru. Guessing there is full recline here, despite being next to a wall? Up thread there is mention that there is alot of traffic to the loos, but they are on the otherside of the cabin and I'd assume people might go infront of 39DEF to get there maybe? However the snack bar is right behind - does that cause any issues? Pro's / Con's?

Come on FTers! We don't generally need to bump in the QF forums. Surely some FTers have traveled in F on the A388 and can give two of us some advice? (And please inform us if your personal choice was to sit without our without your significant other).

We ended up with 2A,3A, and 4A. All of them good individual seats but no for couples.
So this year we will taking the BA 747 and 3A, 4E and 4F.
We'll have diner all 3 together and my parents can easly chat during the flight ^
