Do not call the airlines under any conditions! This is the fastest way to kill the trick and bring unwanted attention to your itinerary! And do not post precious deals in this thread, this is by far the fastest way to kill the trick!

************************************************** ******
This is NOT the right place to ask: "Can you help me with a low fare for AAA-BBB?" This is not the beg-it thread, but the trick-it thread.

This thread deals with unique combinations of routes and booking tricks in order to lower prices on airline fares. Prices that would astound the general public are often achieved by the posters in this thread.

Many people, including airline representatives, monitor this thread. For that reason, it is unorganized, very content heavy, often lacking details, and written in shorthand. It takes patience and effort in order to understand the conversation and be able to participate as an active member.

We encourage you to read the entirety of this thread if you would like to get started and to experiment as soon as you understand the gist of Trick It. Lots of time spent reading, practicing, and learning is the only way to be able to reproduce our tricks and discover new ones yourself. There are many, many people who ask for advice here, so productive members are only able to help those who have shown a concerted effort and progress over a long period of time (months).

If you have no idea what this thread is about, a good place to start are various blogs' posts on the subject. At the very least, read the Rules for posting in this thread. They're also listed in the very first post, below.

Congrats! I'm still learning the ropes and reading as much as I can, but haven't found anything that would save me more than $50 yet. Any hints about this one that you can share or message? App or dessert?

1st strike! Or is it?

Ok, so I sat back and tried to take everything in and understand the logic behind all of this, and I think I may have gotten a third of the way there. Spent the weekend trying various combinations to somehow get rid of the YQ, and this morning, I finally did. C1se-C3 (open jaw) $448 US including the cost of 3X of around $60, in October. Definitely not in the league of some of the finds here, but then considering my airport of departure, and my experience doing this, not bad.

That was the good news (for me anyway), but the bad news was that I was doing this on ATI, and deciding to book, I tried the exact flight combinations on GF, momondo and orbitz, but couldn’t replicate the rates; not even close. Any feedback related to that would be appreciated.

Also, I am starting to get a lot of timeouts on ATI, which I never used to in the past. Could it be that they identify the frequent hits from a particular source and slow it down?

Florida to Scandinavia $ 196.16 All-in R/T

Florida to Scandinavia $ 196.16 All-in R/T. Free stop-over in Non-Scandinavian European capital.

There is no green in main carriers logo.

Are you dyslexic, man? It's ITA, not ATI.

No, your search is too broad. Narrow your searches to help the engine out. Get the ITA plugin. Good luck.

have been doing assignments for first 100 and last 100 threads.

I hope my first question is not too stupid

Is Chinese Flag Carrier (CA) trimmable at all?

If yes, what geographical area should I look into for 3x, or even 1x?

C2-C1/C3

Hello guys,

I am trying to find my first FD. Do you think there is possibility to find whatever C2-C1 or C3 under 200€?

It could be also 1x but rather in Europe. Would appreciate any hint

No, i could not. That deal was available on another forum, with a reduced YQ by 50%. For my interest I found at least 5 other 3x, but all of them were worse.
