For each request, please include the following information:
Departure Airport:
Miles Needed:
Required Spend or Budget:
Available Travel Dates:
Required Metal or Codeshares okay*:
For each response. Please quote the original request. DO NOT START A SEPARATE THREAD.
----
NOTE: You will have greater chances of success if you have greater flexibility on travel dates and cost. If you need a lot of MQMs on weekends only for < 5 cpm it probably won't happen.
Other creative possibilities depending how many MQMs you need:
----
*"Required Metal or Codeshares" is, approximately, asking whether you need a flight operated specifically by Delta or if partner flights are ok. If you are just looking for MQMs to hit a Medallion tier the normal way, then the answer is yes. If you are doing a status challenge, the answer is also probably yes, but read the T&C of your challenge carefully to be sure (for the regular status challenge the answer is also "yes")
NOTE: some partner flights earn MQMs at reduced rates. See this chart for more info.

Other creative possibilities depending how many MQMs you need:
- signup bonuses for various DL-branded AMEX cards (usually have a spend requirement)
- if you already have planned travel, consider buying up (in advance, not at check in) for 50% MQM bonus and more flexible same-day-confirmed options which are another way to increase MQMs
- Hilton 250 MQMs per stay of 2 nights or more
- if you are close to a threshold Delta often will offer a buy-up (at exorbitant prices). 2016 thread, and speculation/anticipation thread for 2017

DL/Sky Team: 2019 Consolidated Mileage/Status/Challenge Runs help needed
Departure Airport: HSV
Miles Needed: 1390
Required Spend or Budget: cheapest possible
Available Travel Dates: Anytime from Dec 28-31.
Cheapest is best. I'm just doing a run to get gold status. Preferred city to visit is NYC but can go anywhere in the world. Out and immediately back is fine. If you DO find NYC for cheap, I could stay a couple days.

Thanks canuck_traveler, I'm still at a loss on how you find those tickets but I was able to get the MIA-ATL-LAS-LAX-DEN for $609. What a crazy world we live in

6,500 Delta MQM WAS
Hello,
i am 6,500 MQM’s short for Delta. I can fly out of DCA or IAD preferably or BWI if it makes a huge difference. I’m looking for the least expensive option and am flexible on dates in the remainder of December. Thanks in advance for any suggestions!

canuck_traveler Is Awesome
Hello,
Year is almost over and I finally have more clarity on end-of-year plans.
Departure Airport: FLL or MIA
Miles Needed: 3540
Required Spend or Budget: N/A
Available Travel Dates: Departing Dec 29, 30 or 31
Required Metal or Codeshares okay*: Yes
Besides the information posted above, there is one additional constraint: I need to land at DEN airport.
Also, I have some availability on Dec 14th, 15th and 16th to do a mileage run departing and returning from DTW if something makes sense.
Thanks in advance,
Fernando

However, I can get you to NYC for $506, Dec 27 - 30, HSV-ATL-HPN-ATL-HSV (E) 2560 MQM - note, that is still 40 MQM short of your 2600 requirement.

If it is the latter, then if Delta awards a minimum of 500 MQMs per leg, even on partner marketed flights, you could do a simple trip with 4 legs to get 2000 MQMs.
e.g. Dec 28, KLM, LHR-AMS-DUS-AMS-LHR, about $400, bookable on Expedia

Mileage Run - Diamon (SO CLOSE!)
Good morning everyone--
Departure Airport: LAS
Miles Needed: 5,000 MQM to reach Diamond (ugh, so close)
Required Spend or Budget: I'm only short on MQD by $136, so I'll make it. Prefer to keep it under $800 if possible.
Available Travel Dates: Dec 10-13, prefer to do it all in a single day
Required Metal or Codeshares okay*: Whatever gets me there
Open to any sage advice from the crew here.
Thanks,
Terrence

I only had 6 mo to get to Gold on Delta due to my move/new job/switching airlines and I would have made it but my SEA>SYD business trip ended up on AA for scheduling reasons. I do currently have Delta Gold thanks to my status match though.
Anyway, I'm 13,143 MQM short to get Gold for 2020 but have reached my MQD requirement. I do have to go to NYC on the 27th but not returning until 1/4 so will only get 2400 MQM out of that.
Wondering if I should just *cheat* and buy the 12,500 Delta MQM for $1599 at this point as I don't have many days available between now and my NYC trip. But I'm open to suggestions and any advice you may have.
Departure Airport: SEA
Miles Needed: 13,143-ish
Dollars Needed - $0 (MQD completed)
Required Spend or Budget: Up to $1599
Available Travel Dates: Dec 14, 15, 21, 22
