For each request, please include the following information:
Departure Airport:
Miles Needed:
Required Spend or Budget:
Available Travel Dates:
Required Metal or Codeshares okay*:
For each response. Please quote the original request. DO NOT START A SEPARATE THREAD.
----
NOTE: You will have greater chances of success if you have greater flexibility on travel dates and cost. If you need a lot of MQMs on weekends only for < 5 cpm it probably won't happen.
Other creative possibilities depending how many MQMs you need:
----
*"Required Metal or Codeshares" is, approximately, asking whether you need a flight operated specifically by Delta or if partner flights are ok. If you are just looking for MQMs to hit a Medallion tier the normal way, then the answer is yes. If you are doing a status challenge, the answer is also probably yes, but read the T&C of your challenge carefully to be sure (for the regular status challenge the answer is also "yes")
NOTE: some partner flights earn MQMs at reduced rates. See this chart for more info.

Other creative possibilities depending how many MQMs you need:
- signup bonuses for various DL-branded AMEX cards (usually have a spend requirement)
- if you already have planned travel, consider buying up (in advance, not at check in) for 50% MQM bonus and more flexible same-day-confirmed options which are another way to increase MQMs
- Hilton 250 MQMs per stay of 2 nights or more
- if you are close to a threshold Delta often will offer a buy-up (at exorbitant prices). 2016 thread, and speculation/anticipation thread for 2017

I'll check that out..
And yes, I confirmed that the dollars section is gone.. but I do have a question..
Since I'm not just based on miles.. does that mean MQM's are based on actual miles flown.. (before the miles were based on actuals + class of service + amount paid)? ie: beyond comfort and amenities, there is no benefit to booking upper tier service for a flight?

Departure Airport: NYC. Can reposition if cheap.
Miles Needed to Platinum: 19,386
Required Spend or Budget: $2395 MQD, Prefer to keep costs below $1k. Not sure if that's possible at this point.
Available Travel Dates: Flexible until Dec. 23.
Required Metal or Codeshares okay*: Partner airline is clearly the only way to do this.
Trying to decide whether it's worth shooting for Platinum. I have an award ticket on Dec. 29 that I cannot use, so getting Platinum would initially be helpful to redeposit that.

Uggg... I made a mistake. I was under the impression MQMS didn't post until the entire trip has been completed, so I miscalculated. I still need 1723 mqms. Can't travel on dec 11-12, already going to Ogg, 19th to LV. Anything else you can find for that small amount of mileage from MSP. Can't travel on 4th or 6th either.

Miles Needed: 6,501 MQM
Required Spend or Budget: $700-$1,200
Available Travel Dates: 12/9-12/23
Required Metal or Codeshares okay*: anything yielding high MQM's for DL
Just short of maintaining Diamond for '20, have held the last 3+ years... any ideas on the easiest/fastest way to get over 6,500 MQM's before end of the year?
Thanks!

Dec 9, JFK-OGG, $585, about 10,000 MQMs, about 1.5 hours in OGG, get back to JFK on Dec 10 - use Delta flexible date search, trip duration of 1 day
Business/First class to LAX/SFO will get you the necessary miles as well. Some tickets are within your budget guidelines (e.g. Dec. 16). Just use the Delta flexible date search.

Need 9K miles
Hi, I am trying to get 9,000 MQMs to qualify for Diamond next year.
Home airport would be DTW unless I need to do it in the last 10 days, then it would be SAN.
I am trying to do this for under $1,000 and the lower the better - I am also not trying to spend any more time away from the family than required to take the flights, so I am very open to just jumping right back onto the next flight and making the overall trip as quick as possible.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

For the week of Dec. 16, tickets to LAS are in the $300+ range. It should get you over 4000 MQMs. Use Delta flexible date search, trip duration of one day

Hello there,
My name is Jay and hoping you can help me achieve Diamond status for the first time. I have been traveling for work the last 3 years as platinum and starting to find I can easily be hitting Diamond by using tips on this site for my domestic travel.
Based in San Diego, but can easily fly from LAX or TIJ.
That said, I am currently 16,419 MQMs and $3128 MQDs short of diamond! I have read that many partner airline premium seats (airfrance / virgin / korean earn 60% MQD conversion)
I have one last work trip to Charlotte Dec 16-18 i can use to maximize, then otherwise was hoping to purchase 1 international flight to net the rest of needed MQM/MQDs.
Need help on locating a discounted flight! Not sure how the pros do this quite yet! (can use Chase or Amex pts to purchase)
Thanks!!!
(last work trip Dec 16 to 18)
Departure Airport: SAN to CLT
Miles Needed: 16419
MQD Needed: $3128
Required Spend or Budget: $800
Available Travel Dates: Dec 16-18
Required Metal or Codeshares okay*: yes
Departure Airport: SAN or LAX or TIJ
Miles Needed: 16419 (minus above CLT trip)
MQD Needed: $3128 (minus above CLT trip)
Required Spend or Budget: $1000 or less if possible.
Available Travel Dates: Dec 2-6 or Dec 9-14 (prefer turnaround flights, no need to stay anywhere)
Required Metal or Codeshares okay*: yes
