Signing up to buy $1000 visa/mc gift cards
You can buy the $1000 cards on Simon's volume site. Their regular site only sells $500 cards.
If you're new, or haven't bought anything in a year, you need to register at https://www.simon.com/volume/register-consumer
As part of the registration process, you will have to go to a brick and mortar mall and buy at least $3000 in cards in person, as well as filling out some paperwork while there. After that, you can do everything online.
As of Nov 2020, Simon Mall Gift cards will only work for $99/swipe for money services at Walmart and many grocery chains.
$1000 gift cards are available indefinitely.

Haven't in the game of Simon for years, and passing by the mall today, so I bought two visa, one from meta, the other from sutton.
Then drove to usps to unload, but all failed. I checked the card balance online, it's all good. For sutton one, there is no usps transaction at all. For meta, it reads as following:
Authorization Request
Location: USPS PO xxxxx xxxx PAY
Status: Invalid Cardholder Transaction Type
Post Date: 6/17/2022 xx:xx:xx PM
Reference: Declined
So anyone know how to unload them these days since I haven't been in the MS games for years. Thank you!

I haven't done Simon in years. Are you saying you had the choice at Simon mall to pick the issuer of the VGC - Meta or Sutton?

We purchase vgc at a Simon mall (meta-blackhawk) and never had problems clearing. Go to WM loading smaller MC games through VBB and all is smooth...loaded maybe a 400. Try to load 499 and denied - tender not accepted. Take it to a grocer and tender not accepted. Check out the card and balance is 1k. Did clearing these change? Also ok to pm.

Why is the pure black card $6.95? I enjoy the look of it, but it increases the overall cost too much!

I think it can only be loaded up to $500 as well. Similar to one you may buy in a store.

Hi Guys,
Back after a long time. After the Albertson's in California started limiting the Simon Mall 1000$ GC to only 99$ drain per swipe, I stopped buying Simon Mall Visa cards and switched to CVS Vanilla cards (VERY expensive hobby). On the downside they are crazy expensive at 5.95$ for 500$ card but can drain it all in 1 swipe (and that way I am still welcome at the Albertsons store for doing 6 swipes for a 3k Money Order!!).
Just wanted to check if Simon Mall Visa cards (or any similar variation with lower fees) are usable again at Albertsons or Walmart that does not restrict to 99$ drain per swipe and at least allows 500$/ swipe.
Thanks again in advance to anyone kind enough to respond.
