Back after a long time. After the Albertson's in California started limiting the Simon Mall 1000$ GC to only 99$ drain per swipe, I stopped buying Simon Mall Visa cards and switched to CVS Vanilla cards (VERY expensive hobby). On the downside they are crazy expensive at 5.95$ for 500$ card but can drain it all in 1 swipe (and that way I am still welcome at the Albertsons store for doing 6 swipes for a 3k Money Order!!).
Just wanted to check if Simon Mall Visa cards (or any similar variation with lower fees) are usable again at Albertsons or Walmart that does not restrict to 99$ drain per swipe and at least allows 500$/ swipe.

If someone knew the answer and was willing to share it, they would have done so. Meta clearly doesn't like their cards being used for MOs and has taken these steps at a number of stores so you can probably assume the limit is indefinite. Best way to know is to take the chance and let us know.
