The new (dec 13) change to the website is a dis-service to customers

While hyatt.com never had an ease of use and functionality to display various rates in several properties comparable to marriott or spg, since yesterday one has to click at least 3 times before seeing the rates. Before yesterday, I could compare rates across the properties in New York after filling in location and dates on home page, now the website returns the hotels without rates with the note: "Given the volume of hotels located in the area you searched, we are unable to provide rates and availability for every property. To view rates and availability, please select one property or further refine your search by entering a city location in the search box."
After that you have to choose one property, and confirm the dates with the third click just to see the rates.

I hope this is a temporary glitch and not an "enhancement" and will be corrected as soon as possible

Last edited by LilZeppelin; Dec 14, 2011 at 11:06 am Reason: PS The rates are still returned when entering LGA or EWR as location, but not JFK, or "New York, NY"

Bill from E-Commerce here. We now have so many properties in the NYC area (21 within 50 miles of NYC), that we're running into this limitation. This is the only market where this happens and we're working to resolve this. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Bill from E-Commerce here. We've fixed this temporarily and are working on a longer term solution. Thanks for reporting it.

Early Sunday in the Estados Unidos typically means that websites are not operational.

Meaning my bookings will reappear tomorrow? I've never seen this.
I usually have a bunch of booking in the system and I have never seen them erased on Sunday morning!
Do I have to rebook? First one is for this coming tuesday.

Bill from IT, are you gonna deal with "New York" at all or is it beyond you?

New York searching is still a real problem

Bill,
I just want to search across multiple New York, NY properties. I don't really care about properties in NJ, Long Island, Connecticut or upstate. Not even Hoboken/Jersey City across the water. Those are different markets. Please could you tell us when you are going to fix this?

Hyatt web site is currently unable to locate any properties in the New York State area and it won't let me access my account.

Bill from E-Commerce here. My new years resolution is to visit here more consistently.

Re the problem with NYC saying there are too many hotels, I thought we fixed this. I just sent a note to the team to see what is up.
