Actually I have - yesterday I couldn't log on to my account using Mozilla but it worked fine using IE. But now it works.

Performance seems to be ok lately, but I still very much dislike the bonus search interface.

Point balance recalculation when changing award reservations can be a real challenge -- with uncredited, delayed or simply very incorrect new balances showing - especially when many irons are in the fire at once. But the right balance usually shows up after several days. In several instances, I've called and painstakingly worked through the correction. Then recently, I didn't have the time to call for about a week, and the adjusted, correct balance showed up on its own -- a first for me. This problem really shouldn't happen.

Word to the wise: Write down the starting balance somewhere when making a number of potentially changing (or canceling) award reservations. (Which would be all the time. Non?)

Don't know if this issue belongs in this thread, or on its own. And apologies if it does and already has shown up here...


NB: In fairness (?), I had the same problem several times years ago with Mileage Plus -- canceled award travel but the miles didn't automatically show up in the balance. All the more intense a nuisance for extreme travelers.

I've actually noticed that while making a reservation that if I leave the browser or browser tab and do something else on the computer, the hyatt.com site will return a "Technical Error" upon return to Hyatt.com.

Looks like the site is having problems, I'm not able to log-in to my GP account. Not that I'm surprised, there seem to be issues on the site every other day.

Best Available Rate Search

I find it frustrating when doing a search for rates and reservations by destination that the list of results will not show AAA or other affiliation rates, even if that rate type is selected before doing the search. Since the AAA promos sometimes vary by property, I end up having to check multiple hotels individually to see which offers the best rate options. If the affinity rate option is provided at the time of the search, those rates really should be included in the results list.

Working fine for me. Even gave me a lower price on a reservation that I made at the HR Mainz, so a quick call to GP got that fixed ^

Funny thing: Right now I am at the Hyatt CDG and connected to their network. However as it seems it is not possible to connect to Hyatt.com...

Yet again unavailable and I've had 2 different errors the past 2 times I tried to book some rooms, this time on Saturday EVENING here in the UK because I already know that there is no way I will be able to book a room on Sunday since the reservation system is always down due to maintenance. Ok, that's bad enough, but now Saturday as well????

I've never before come across such as highly regarded company with such an unprofessional website.

And Hyatt.com is not working again. Just getting a blank page when I try to log into my account.
