What is with the new delta.com saying so many flights are not upgrade eligible that are? doesn't happen all the time to me, but is happening more than it should. For example DTW-PHL flights with 1st class cabin, LAX-ATL flights w 1st class cabin.

The old website worked well for me. Now this new "improved" version is basically unusable. So much for progress.

At least it is early enough in the year to give some other airline my miles for 2013.

BTW, after I booked the flights, I never received a confirmation email. When I called the Medallion desk since I use Kayak trips for trip itineraries (Tripit being useless now) and needed an email to forward, the CSA said her screen showed it had been sent twice. When I said I had not gotten either, she sent it to my email address and it arrived in less than 10 Seconds. I asked her to send it to another address I have and it arrived again within 10 seconds.

Just another foul up of the new Improved Delta.dumb

Using delta.com is like dealing with my moron uncle who still has an aol.com account. Although they are trying to present an image of climbing higher, their website should have a separate campaign entitled "digging an even deeper hole". /rant over

Two minute schedule change results in a schedule change message. After my upgrade clears, I lose the ability to change and only have the cancel/accept buttons. Clicking accept does not do anything....

+1 I thought the old DL.com was the best in the industry. This newer version is frustratingly bad.

Delta.com Email Receipt Function Won't Work

I regularly use the email receipt function from delta.com, but since the new website, it hasn't worked. Have emailed delta.com support, but no honest response (just canned). They did email all of my active itineraries one time for me when I asked, but seems like this would be a relatively easy fix. Mainly just posting here in hopes that a DL lurker will see this and do something.

Just an interesting development, received an email from KLM titled: "A few questions about another airline website." And yes, the website they were gathering user opinions on was delta.com. Perhaps KLM is looking to have an intervention?

Some entity need to intervene: Clearly Delta doesn't give a crap about having a user-friendly and functional customer interface.

Kupbens got his Mall of America website. Mazel tov; may his salary be paid in SkyMiles and he has to use the "award calendar" to redeem them.

Just spent an hour on the phone with multiple reservations and web support agents, trying to get my middle name to show up correctly in the PNR/secure flight data for an award trip I just booked. Even though my name appeared correct everywhere in my profile, and apparently appeared correct (including middle name) in the PNR and secure flight data on DL's system, my middle name does not appear in the PNR/secure flight fields for that particular itinerary on the website. DL claims my full name is correct in their systems and will show up on my boarding pass when I check in - we'll see.

I will be most irate if the middle name doesn't show up on my boarding pass and I get sent back to the ticket counter by a grumpy TSA agent.

There was a time that I did not have all of my names in the blocks. Never had TSA doc checker mention it or complain about it.

Pre-Check / Secure Flight information match is another situation: Secure Flight data must match GOES profile.

I have two middle names and enter them both, with a space in between, in DL's middle name box:

First name: STEVE
Middle Name: STEVEN STEEVO
Last Name: STEVENS

Tells me that it is time to check in. Online check in not working for, at least 7 hours today. Spoke to someone in IT Dept. who checked and said it is clearly DL's online problem. I asked her to please note in the PNR my (our) multiple attempts to do OLCI for international trip leaving tomorrow. So aggravating. Will cost me a lot a more time at LAX checking in.

One data point to provide a little reassurance.
Despite all this nonsense of declaring "one name" for delta.com, my middle name is all over the place, etc. I called tech support as you did, they said all is well on their end, despite what I see. Completed two trips recently where DL.com had my middle name in the wrong place and pre-check worked.

Delta are you listening? Fix this!
