This might have been covered already but this is the first time I have encountered this bug.
Attempting to redeem companion certificate where travel is valid only in certain classes (LUT, but also apparently also X and V since the fare class realignment).
If I make a dummy booking without the certificate, the flight I want has >2 seats available in X and only 1 seat available in V (i.e., dummy booking for 1 showed V fare, dummy booking for 2 showed X fare). Plenty of availability in LUT. When I plug in the certificate this flight does not appear at all. If I try using the certificate for another date that has >2 seats available in X and 0 available in V, the flight appears (in X).
The web help desk first tried to tell me that the problem is I need LUT availability. After I pointed out that the flight does have T availability
the agent was able to manually setup the itinerary in X class and transfer me to reservations... where they tried to charge me a phone booking fee
. Finally able to get that waived and it took me an hour in the end. It hardly seems worth it given the measly net amount I saved using the certificate (vs buying 1 V fare and 1 X fare).

Website wants me to upgrade my browser....again and again
I am using Internet Explorer 9 on my laptop. During the past two weeks, the website intermittently wants me to upgrade my browser so that I can enjoy the full experience of delta.com. When I checked the requirements for the site, it lists Internet Explorer 8 as the minimum IE browser version.
What nonsense.

Missing "print" buttons on "print boarding passes" web page
Today, I was trying to print the boarding passes for my flights, for which I was checking in. When the page displayed showing the boarding passes, and it started "loading your weather and destination highlghts" (ugh), the page that displayed right after that had no "print" buttons visible so that I could print the displayed information and boarding passes. I tried refreshing the page, with no success.
Finally had to use BACK button on browser, and return to the page, and then it rendered correctly with the "print" buttons.
Happened each time I checked in today. Two itineraries.

There is an additional "special" bucket for certs that is not visible and has to have availability to be able to use them. You are fortunate that you found an agent not smart enough to know that and override it for you.

Interesting. This is my first time using companion cert and will probably be my last as it wasn't worth it. In the end I saved maybe 50 bucks b/c without the cert I would have been smart enough to buy on 2 separate PNRs to get the 1 remaining cheap fare. It's not worth the hassle and on top of that it makes the flight ineligible for upgrades (I know I'm only FO but my UG success on this particular route is close to 100%).

Disappearing Flights!
I would like to book NYC-FCO RT business class for 3 in July 2014. Right now my anticipated flights are not within the 331 day window, so I am doing a dry run.
It seems that I can never get the same information twice. Specifically, whenever I find an available flight, click out, and return to it a few seconds later, it's gone! For example, this morning I pulled the award calendar for June 2014, which shows six dates at the "Low Price" level. I checked "One Way" for June 11, and I find that there is availability for 3, nonstop for 100,000 miles at 10:15am.
I then tried to pull it up as part of a RT, and now the same flight is available at only the 200,000 mile level.
I go back to check the 10:15 flight again as a one-way, and find it available at the 200,000 mile level.
I go back a few minutes later, and the 10:15 is not available at all!
Likewise, I go back to the award calendar, and what originally showed 6 days at the Low Price level, now shows no Low Price level availability for the month of June.
This is just one example of what has been repeatedly going on during my dry runs. On one such occasion, I called and spoke to a rep after my targeted flight has disappeared, was told that her computer likewise showed that is wasn't available, and that these apparent inconsistencies were really the result of someone booking or reserving the flight within the few seconds I went back to it. I obviously don't buy it. It has happened too many times.
Anybody else having the same problem? (My apologies if this is a known issue. I'm new to this thread and tried to research it, but could only find one similar comment going back to December)

Has anyone had trouble with Delta-sent emails lately?
I haven't been receiving upgrade confirmation emails, or all of my confirmed ticekt emails.
Today I tried to email my itinerary to myself, twice, and no dice. It says confirmed as sent successfully, but no emails.
And yes, I check my spam folder.

DL's web site cannot search by price on multi-city itineraries. I know this is a longstanding bug that has been reported before. But what I didn't realize is that it also prevents DL results from being returned on third-party sites like Kayak when searching multi-city itineraries.
I was searching a multi-city itinerary on Kayak and found it odd that there were no DL results returned at all and no option in the navigation pane to choose DL flights. Then I realized what the problem might be, and went to DL.com to search directly. I got the standard error, then tried searching by schedule, and DL actually came out with a lower price than any of the results on Kayak.
If I hadn't remembered the DL.dumb bug at that moment, I would have booked on a different airline. DL must be losing business because of this glitch.

I've been watching a multi-city itinerary for September as I want to switch from award ticket to using a voucher. It's technically a round-trip with a stopover, I guess, but I use the multi-city search page, and it returns search by price results.

I don't think I've seen anyone else mention this one. When trying to book an award ticket, in my TSA secure traveler data, my name appears as BamaGirl instead of Bama Girl. And I cannot edit it. When booking revenue tickets, it correctly appears as Bama Girl. I'm thinking I will just ignore it and hope TSA doesn't hassle me on the rare occasion when I fly on an award ticket.

Never seemed to make a difference to the TSA, though...

legacy NW user converted to DL with 6 inserted before SM# ...
Skymiles -> Manage my account -> Manage Profile/My Profile -> BASIC INFO (open) -> Email Address/SMS TEXT
I have this set to Personal/TEXT/email address
The emails I get from delta don't honor the text format, and I don't get the marketing mails/statements i'm signed up for. While not entirely a website bug, all the other emails I get are HTML (*vomit*) and don't honor this text part.
The good news is you haven't dropped my 'known traveller id' recently.

I have seen this problem too, and a while back had constantly flip-flopping data. Sometimes I'd wind up booked as FirstMiddle Last, sometimes First Middle Last, and at one point even showed up as FirstMiddle Middle Last.
