I'm never flying a 738 again. There are obviously structural problems in every 738 that has ever been built. Far too risky...

Plus, they run out of gas if you don't put enough in or fly too long.

Same here. I only count the flights I was actually on in the total in my signature. I did have one case last year where I sat in Y on the flight I received an EUA on. I showed up at the gate as they were closing the flight, and they let me on (late arriving flight at EWR was the cause) but had already given away my F seat. Y was pretty empty and I didn't argue too much because I was just so glad to be on the flight. I did count that, because I was on that flight, as opposed to being rebooked.

The reason I count them is because I look at upgrades received, not actually taken advantage of.

I had a massive headache last night and went to bed at 9:30. I knew the box would be too much to make up this morning so I skipped it until now, 5:rolleyes::rolleyes: posts!? Yeesh. More is more, indeed.

Yeah, I thought the same thing. Very odd crash in a number of different respects.

Morning. Still sick here, but stayed off the Nyquil last night so I could be more functional this morning, since I have a stupid conference call first thing.

After that conference call you should take some Nyquil and go back to bed!

A friend is coming over for coffee this morning.

I believe it will be a perfect opportunity to use the BF cups. LOL

My cups are in Houston at my parents house. I am hoping to use the BF cups next on my next BF flight. They are so much better sitting on a tray table traveling to a far away destination!

 of the morning goes to the project manager at my company who I was scheduled for a conference call at 9:00 AM with. In her e-mail to set up the call, she said we'd use our internal conferencing system, and in the e-mail she gave me the number for that system and her ID. So I called it, not realizing it was the wrong number. Instead of the usual recording I'm used to hearing that welcomes me to our conference call system I get a message in a seductive female voice welcoming me to the "premiere adult chat line of the Northeast" and followed by information on how to enter my credit card . So I hung up and dialed again, thinking I misdialed. Same thing. At this point I pulled up my e-mail information for my own conferencing account to check the number, and the actual number for our system isn't even close to what she sent me. So I dialed it, and entered the ID she gave me, which of course wasn't recognized. Then I realized our system uses 6 digit IDs, and she gave me an 8 digit ID.

At that point I called her cell phone, which she answered. I told her I couldn't get to her on the conferencing system with the number she gave me, and she pulled up the e-mail she sent me. After a pause, she said "Oh, oh no. I copy and pasted the wrong information in the e-mail to you. That was supposed to go to someone else."

Note to all: When sending out conference call information to people in your company for a business call, don't copy and paste the information for your account on an adult phone chat service that charges $9.99 plus $0.99/minute.

There are so many ways to respond but I thing I will be good and just move on. :p

Hmmm... more upgrades for the rest of us!

Steph3n Feb 25, 2009 8:08 am

738s are too prone to falling out of the sky on approach, no 738s for me either!

Morning Box

Woke up this morning all excited for a long anticipated once in a blue moon 4 day ski trip out west. Bags are packed, BPs printed, upgrade list checked.

So what do I do? Throw out my back while putting the ski bag in the car.

fozz Feb 25, 2009 8:14 am

Congrats baglady! Sorry I couldn't stay up and join in the festivities.

I do not count #4. The upgrades for the others was actually received, but since no upgrades were given out on this flight and I was rebooked, I do not count it, even if I was #1 on the list.

+1

So you're leaving CO? :) Is it even possible not to fly on a 738 if you fly CO?

I grab "real" Pepsi every time I am at El Bolillo buying bread (they have Coca-Cola as well).

I think I'm scheduled to fly on 4 of them next weekend. ;)

I am going to switch all of my flying to US - those A319/320/321s are so much more reliable.

Oh definitely. I can easily go months flying CO every week and without stepping on a 738. They very rarely appear here at ATL, and other cities that are loaded up with 735s.

Yeah, they never, ever fall out of the sky. Never.
