 of the morning goes to the project manager at my company who I was scheduled for a conference call at 9:00 AM with. In her e-mail to set up the call, she said we'd use our internal conferencing system, and in the e-mail she gave me the number for that system and her ID. So I called it, not realizing it was the wrong number. Instead of the usual recording I'm used to hearing that welcomes me to our conference call system I get a message in a seductive female voice welcoming me to the "premiere adult chat line of the Northeast" and followed by information on how to enter my credit card . So I hung up and dialed again, thinking I misdialed. Same thing. At this point I pulled up my e-mail information for my own conferencing account to check the number, and the actual number for our system isn't even close to what she sent me. So I dialed it, and entered the ID she gave me, which of course wasn't recognized. Then I realized our system uses 6 digit IDs, and she gave me an 8 digit ID.
At that point I called her cell phone, which she answered. I told her I couldn't get to her on the conferencing system with the number she gave me, and she pulled up the e-mail she sent me. After a pause, she said "Oh, oh no. I copy and pasted the wrong information in the e-mail to you. That was supposed to go to someone else." Note to all: When sending out conference call information to people in your company for a business call, don't copy and paste the information for your account on an adult phone chat service that charges $9.99 plus $0.99/minute. 2 questions: 1) What is her relationship to the phone number? Customer? Talent? Proprietor? 2) To whom was the original email sent? Husband? Married boyfriend? Boss? Mother? |

I have three drink coupons left - seeing as how I have to get off my IAH-SEA flight and drive 45 minutes, I don't think they're put to good use there. Maybe on Sunday morning when we fly SEA-EWR at something like 7:40am Pacific...give the fiancee a couple of coupons and get her to go back to sleep.

When jonesing for non-alcoholic drinks, I tend to angle for Jarritos Mandarina. It's the perfect accompaniment to marinated pork tacos.

Costco in California has Mexican Coca Cola. In the NYC area you have to wait until Passover to get Coca Cola made with real sugar.
