Select Refundable Ticket, Rules and Restrictions Say Non-Refundable

I need to purchase a refundable ticket. I went to advanced search, selected lowest refundable fare. When I went to purchase the ticket and clicked on "View Rules and Restrictions", the next screen stated "to view the rules associated with this non-refundable ticket"...

I read the fare rules - they are not terribly clear. I absolutely must purchase a refundable ticket by tomorrow, and I'm not going to take any chances of buying a non-refundable ticket. I know that I will very likely have to change the dates at least once. The tech support one finds on Memorial Day has not been helpful. Guess I'll head over to aa.com, unless someone can confirm that this is a website error.

Last week (May 19) I was in London, and when logging into Co.com, it recognized that I was in the UK and presented some UK information on the main page. However, there was some incorrect information presented.

For check-in, it indicated that occurs at code-share partner Virgin in T3, but my boarding pass (and actual check-in) was at T4.

It also presented old information about LHR carry-on limit - still showing the one carry-on rule for the UK, but that is no longer in effect at LHR.

Thanks!

NYC-NCE Reward Calendar Shows Availability- get error message when booking

I've been looking at the flights over the past two months for NYC-NCE using Saver Pass Economy Reward using 8/19/08 as outbound and 8/31/08 return. The reward availability calendar would appear with a range of dates, and I would click them through and check flight times, etc.

Over the past two days, when I attempt to find availability I now get the error message "Continental.com could not find any available flights for reward travel meeting your requirements". However the calendar clearly shows there is availability.

What I am doing wrong

Likes milesmilesmiles, I've been having trouble with reward itineraries involving partners (specifically AS) over the past few days. The calendar will show availability; but cannot come up with any itineraries. This was working a few days ago; but not since at least Wednesday.

I'm wondering, does co.com's ability to link to partner reward buckets kind of go up and down?

Seems like this has happened to me with AS before.

I have a similar, albeit opposite, problem from Steph3n...I'm not getting miles from qualified purchases, promotions, etc. I've had to send 3 separate incidents to OnePass over the last 6 months. One has been resolved, one is pending, and the other is MIA at this point. All miles have to do with partner/credit card purchases. Any help, other than continuing to work with Customer Service (who has been very, very nice)?

"Per Person/Round Trip" when booking one-way

This is uber nit picky, but today I was pricing out a pair of one-way tickets (for the Mrs and I) and noticed that even though I was pricing one way, each flight listed for me to choose from said "$xxx Per Person/Round Trip."

Any chance of ever being able to book tickets online for all the Skyteam partners (like we can do with Expedia/Orbitz, etc.)? I get awfully tired of the "Continental or its partners serve these cities but do not publish schedules or fares between them" message trying to book tickets within Europe.... This is a nuisance for European trips where I hit an extra city before returning.

Although I suppose its better than seeing the Europe to EWR and then back to Europe options I used to see...

For example, it would be nice to be able to book with OK (Czech Airlines) when going to and from Prague...

ideally, let people multi-select from a list of partners, instead of just having a checkbox for Continental Airlines Flights only. It would be fine if the default selection was what you currently get - NW, KLM, AF (whatever they actually are) - just allow the option for others.

I've been having trouble changing a paid reservation online. When I search for the new flights, I get a reward screen showing saver-pass and easy-pass flights (with none available) rather than the regular flight selection screen.

Add Lifetime Flight Miles on Main CO page under "My Account Summary"

Feature Suggestion: The Lifetime Flight Miles (LFM) should also be displayed on the main CO web page under the "My Account Summary" graphic located on the right hand side of the page. The LFM is not listed on the accoutn summary there but if you select "View Account Details", the LFM details are listed/grouped with those same fields.

You may want to send that in using the "preview.continental.com Comments for Web Product Team" link.
