Two things happened to me, the first one has happened twice:

On my upcoming summer-holiday-itinerary, there has been a couple of aircraft changes (within the 737-family), and both times this have happened, the seatmap becomes unavailable for that leg for several hours, maybe up to a day.. fAnd untill it returns, we have no seat assignements for that flight at all.

Also, the names of me and my friend got switched.. After booking, I was the "main" pax. Had my name to the left on the bottom of the page, and my e-mail adress and phone number was listed under me. Now, all of a sudden, our names are switched!! Looking at the bottom of the page, My firends name is now mentioned to left, with my phone number and e-mail adress underneath.. I got his seats, and he got mine.. However, my Flying Blue number, is still connected to me..

Two people in 1A? I checked in from home for PHL-IAH #1677 on 3/29/08. I saw seat 1A was open. I was able to check-in for it. When I get to the airport, boarding had already started. I come to 1A, and a woman is seated in it. The purser takes my BP and hers to the GA. Says I am in 4A. No, I am not hallucinating. I did check in to 1A. The GA comes on board and says the computer made a mistake, and that the woman is in 1A. I tell her, "sorry, but computers don't make mistakes, humans do. Please correct this mistake now." How the .... do I check in from home 20 hours before departure and this .... happens? I was embarrassed on the plane because of this. Thankfully there is another seat available in row 1 (I need the extra leg room). Any ideas as to why this occurred?

Fax delivery from OLCI did not work over the weekend. Tried it for 3 separate itineraries, to two different hotel's fax numbers, and none of them showed.

On the other hand, automatic 24-hour OLCI for the return flight did work, and those BPs were indeed faxed out.

I like the new "seats available" and "on-time performance" upgrades, but in the process of this latest upgrade CO's programmers apparently conked out the ability for PLTs to view available exit-row seats. I can see available exit-row seats on existing reservations, but I ain't buyin' a ticket unless I'm guaranteed 14A or F, so the pre-booking viewability needs to be fixed pronto.

Seat Assignment During booking shows an "E", eg "E16C"?

Hi,

I have'nt had time to follow the threads the last few months but tonight booking tix on CO.com I noticed during the seat selection process/purchase that seat assignements show up prefixed with an "E" for me? So if I select seat 7C it is shown during the purchase process as seat "E7C". After the purchase this is not showing.

What does the E mean? At first I thought it was for Exit row seats but that proved inaccurate, any ideas?

Cheers,
CLEHillBilly

Something wrong with CO.com or do I have a virus?

Every time I go to CO.com I am taken to a page that is asking me to update my information - address , username and password. This has never happened before and I suspect something... tia.

I'm guessing it's an oversight or accident on CO's part, similar to the one I posted about available exit-row seats not showing up when you click "view seats" (but I discovered yesterday that they do show up once you start the booking process and use the Seat Selector function). The "E" probably designates the seats up front that can only be reserved by OP Elites.

FYI, Its been since January but I just noticed last month I was credited for $20 to my gift account for itineraries I have never flown/scheduled.

Two in one day

I have two minor problems on CO.com. If someone at CO needs the confirmation numbers, please PM me.

1. A three legged trip with the middle one on DL. The "Review current reservation" page shows:
a. The first leg gives me the complimentary upgrade question. (OK)
b. The DL leg does not (OK)
c. The last leg, which is a 737, does not have the question (NOT OK)

2. A round trip IAH-HNL. The return, which is overnight, shows the arrival on the same day rather than the next day on the "View Current Reservation" page. It shows correctly on the E-ticket receipt, as there is a special note (in bold) shown next to the arrival time.

Obviously not urgent issues, but should be on someone's list to fix.

I noticed an interesting thing the other day. I had a bunch of Travel serts and i wasnt able to use them all before they expired. So i gave one to a friend who will be travelling soon. A few days later i punched in the PIN to see if she had used it yet, (so i could trash the paper) and not only was it used, it gave me her confirmation number!! Since i already knew her last name (shes a good friend) i was able to access her reservation, change her seats, flights etc. What happens to all the people who buy these certs off ebay and use them? Since the seller now has their name (from payment) coudn't they just enter the reservation, and do what they wanted to it, including print boarding passes and impersonate the intended flyer? Freaked me out a bit, let me tell ya!

"Complimenterary Elite Upgrade Setting..." icon is not always displayed

Over the last month or so I have noticed that some tickets I have purchased do not display the "Complimentary Elite Upgrade Setting is..ON/OFF" while some segments on the same Itinerary do. If I log back in a day or two later then the upgrade message is sometimes displayed, the problem seems to be random in nature.

Cheers,
CLEHillbilly

PC Information:

1 - Can the order of the three dots in the header of the PC Lacation page be the same order as what is in the column on the page. Seems simple but I am sure a bit confusing.

2 - On the PC amenties page it shows the premimum wines in only the EWR and IAH lounges when CLE I now has them and other clubs soon including the LAS club from day one. Also I would suggust that the list of wines be in a bullet point format as it makes it easier to read and I feel will increase the chance that people notice the information on the website and then buy the wines in the clubs (ie list them the same as the amenties of the club).

Yet another new problem has arisen. I'm mid-trip on a flight between AUS-IAH-LEX. The two IAH-LEX segments are RJs, so I'm stuck in 12A on those. I was upgraded five days out on both of the AUS-IAH segments.

Problem: when I go into "View Itinerary" now to see my current reservation, the two upgraded segments are showing "0% Elite Qualification Miles"! (I bought the ticket on CO.com and paid for all segments)
