BA105 operating out at 2040 and BA104 back at 1005. Still an A350 with club suites though.

It looks like the BA105 overnight flight is being retained.

It appears UAE will be removed from UK travel corridor list shortly. If this was to happen, will BA pull out entirely?

Highly unlikely is my guess. I think the demand still would justify at least 1x/daily, as was the case before the UAE was added to the travel corridor list.

changes to the list have already been announced for today and UAE is still on the corridor, so probably reprieved for another week.

Unfortunately (and as described in posts passim) there are rather a lot of Brits cavorting in Dubai right now, who will be booked on flights home in the next few weeks. As such, BA won’t be able to pull the route completely, as they’ll need the return sectors to bring people back to the UK. I expect the flights remaining by the end of this week will stick throughout.

And they will need covid tests to get back home even if British Citizens

All travellers to England from overseas will need to test negative for coronavirus before they are allowed to enter the country, the government has announced.

The test will need to be taken up to 72 hours before their departure - and failure to comply will result in an immediate £500 fine.

Arrivals by boat, plane and train are covered by the new regulations, which also apply to UK nationals.

Easily done in Dubai. Can get tests for 80AED in some places, or have someone come to your hotel for 240AED. A hell of a lot cheaper than private testing in UK

If it's a short trip I wonder if they'd accept the PCR test taken on arrival in DXB.

I was speaking with a BA friend on the DXB flights and she's mentioned that the LF on the 3 dailies is still high, around 60%. Most longhauls these days are 20 points lower than that.

Test to be taken within 72h of UK arrival so in theory yes although the trip indeed would need to be extremely short. Does the DXB on arrival test give you a neg certificate/neg mobile text to show return check in/on UK arrival if asked?

I didn't get a certificate or text. It just showed up on the DXB App (which wouldn't be any use outside of Dubai).

So, I wouldn't rely on the DXB tests,
