Ah yes, one of my Pucci favourites: "70 going on 100, preserved in gin and soot"

Okay, since the thread is getting a little light on DYKWIA stories, here's a minor one from a flight to Glasgow recently.

I boarded early and took my seat in the front row, before deciding to pop to the loo. As I was about to enter the galley area a woman boarded with a handbag, suitcase and about 6 shopping bags and asked if she could put some of them in the cupboard. The crew member at the door pointed out that she may be over her hand baggage allowance, to which the woman replied, "It's okay, I'm a gold card holder and I'm in 1A". It seems that now allows you to bring as much baggage as you like! She didn't seem too amused when I pointed out that she would have to sit on my knee Turns out she was in 1C.

Incidentally, we ended up having a good chat on the flight and I suggested she join Flyertalk so she may well be reading this. Whoops!

Just saw a previous member of the DYKWIA club just tweet that he "purchased" an extra seat in business on QR AKL-DOH so he wouldn't have to sit next to anyone!

Would be really funny if that were an A350 route.

But isn't it still flown by 772s?

The A350-900 ULR will have the range. Scheduled to enter service in 2018 for SQ. They will use it to fly the former A340-500 routes such as SIN-JFK in all-Biz config.

Nearly snorted out my drink.

Having been involved in several projects transitioning legacy apps to SAP (from the legacy app side) I wonder why people never learn...

Still, all this chopping and changing keeps people in work doesn't it?
