Last edit by: KARFA
This thread gives the current catering options for the Concorde Room (CCR), which is airside by South Security. It also gives the menu used in the First Dining Room in LHR T3 after 18:30 hrs for First passengers. This lounge is open to passengers flying BA on a First ticket or Concorde card holders. The catering supplier is BaxterStorey, who took over the contract on 2 May 2013.

The current catering options in the LHR CCR can be found in the first post in the thread, or you can click here.

Do they ever serve lamb chops at LHR CCR?
Lamb has appeared on the CCR menu a number of times over the years. It is likely to reappear in the not too distant future. The last time it appeared it was very popular and rather nice.

Two things.

When do the menus generally change. There in January and February.

Secondly, can I try everything on the menu if need be?

The menus change on the first day of the month.

Yes, you can eat everything on the menu if you wish, I personally don't have the stomach capacity. If there is a First flight also involved, that is quite a lot of food.

Usually at the start of every month, but not everything changes. There are some permanent fixtures (soup, burger, club sandwich). Of the other dishes typically two or so come off and are replaced. By January I suspect the only things common to the current menu would be the permanent dishes, everything else will be different. When you come again in February there should be some new things to try as well compared to your January visit.

You can try everything from the menu

No nuts in the CCR?

As per the title, I asked for some nuts and a ginger ale. The waitress seemed confused by the latter but came back to report they didn't have any nuts in the CCR. I won't belabour the obvious irony of that statement but I am quite surprised.

I have to admit I think I prefer being able to go and get what I want instead of doing the Mexican hat dance to attract attention for service*

It is true that there are no nuts in the CCR. There are other 'nibbles' available but not of the 'nutty' variety.

There are some salted or sweet nibbles available (a.o. dried fruit) which you can get at the bar. Peanuts would be a very welcomed addition though.

I sometimes wish they would install some of these buttons, especially on the terrace.
