Thanks Prospero.

I was somewhat worried that I enjoyed the 2004? Castlenau.

Still miss the days of the vintage Taittinger.

Yes, the wines in CE are virtually undrinkable.

In GF this afternoon are the usual Tattinger champagnes plus the Castlenau 2004.

Reds included a single bottle of Chateau Balestard La Tonnelle Saint-Emilion Grand Cru Classe 2008 ^ plus endless supply of Newton Johnson 2012 Pinot Noir, Radford Dale Pinot 2013 and The Trafford Syrah 2010.

Perhaps they have it only on routes to Guatemala. I wouldn't be surprised if customers requested only local stuff in some survey.

In addition to Haig Club perhaps we'll see some other new Diageo product replacing
Zacapa and Tanqueray No. Ten, maybe this one

That's not a very inspired whisky selection. The standard Bushmills expression is respectable, and that's it IMO.

I'm still waiting for the day that Campari makes an appearance in the Flounge so that Negronis can be made.

I think there was an albarino in cw to mia a couple of weeks ago; i might be mixing it up with the mar de frades albarino on iberia, but i recall asking a few times then just pointing at the menu due to the blank looks....followed by a comment of 'excellent choice sir!'. id blame the accent, but the fa was a fellow Scot.
