What Happened to the Omelette?

Flew J to Ottawa last week on the 7 am flight and was looking forward to my omelette, but instead we were served a fruit plate and a croissant.

The croissant was quite good and better than the old rolls, but there was no jam and I really miss the Omelette. In fact, the only reason I fly J class on that flight is to get breakfast.

Did you fly YYZ-YOW?
According to post 1055 in http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/air-c...thread-71.html, YYZ-YOW J doesn't get the omelette anymore due to time & crew constrain on this route.

Yes YYZ-YOW.

Not sure of serving the fruit plate and hot croissant is less demanding on the crew.

I am disappointed.

Not sure if a croissant is healthier than an omelette.
OP, you could get your eggs from the MLL instead, although they're not in the form of omelettes.

The lineup for the eggs in the lounge was round the block.

I don't know how you folks can miss that omelette. Even when starving I am lucky if I can even eat 1/2 of it.

Though I preferred it when it cad the creamy cheese stuff in it, I still really like it and the sausage.

Now just waiting for the espresso machines.

Based on the 1/2 million posts in the "2015 Enhancements" thread, AC has singularly raised blood pressure of a lot of folks to a dangerous degree .....

So, no.
