Thanks for the response and advice. The direct flight arrives at four in the morning, which I don't want and the FRA-IST segment is in TK business anyway.

DXB STOP w/ Asia 1 or 2 reward

after lots of searching I have only come up with a few routings that look like its possible for a stopover in DXB:
yvr-nrt-icn-sgn-sin (destination)-dxb(stop)-ist-muc-ord-yvr is one

looking for advice (turns and looks for Pseudo Nim amongst others !!) on how to incorporate a stop in DXB (priority) and also to maximise a First experience at the same time on an Asia 1/2 reward

I did yyz-phl-fra (LH F)-bkk-nrt (TG F) ord (NH F)-yyz last year which was amazing...

thanks for the help !

Hmm. Well, sorry to be the voice of reason here... but no way you can get a DXB stop on an Asia1/2 - it'll be middle eastern mileage

Also, why are you trying to get SGN in there - intentional or not? that'll play tricks with schedule as it'll probaby be a difficult city to get in/out of time-wise as it's not a hub.

Damn - but I figured as much. Thought perhaps I could use DXB as a stop, then continuing on to a POT in either Asia 1 or 2 zone. Its weird that you can have a stop-over in Europe but not ME.

As per the itinerary quoted, it was just an example I found in the forum. Another was yul-phl-zrh-dxb (stop) - pek-hnd-okj (destination) - itm-nrt-ist-vko (stop) dme-zrh-yul !
Now THATS maximizing the reward, but again how did they get the DXB stop to validate??

1st stab:
first half of Middle East F Reward
yyz-jfk-nrt-icn-tpe-ckg-sin
comes in at 11 711 mi
will it validate?

back half will be sin-dxb -... but I have yet to play around with that!
am trying to find F travel from sin/bkk to dxb
it doesn't seem to be offered
